STRAAT is the museum for street art and graffiti
We aim to share our passion for this radical art movement with the public, showcasing some of the biggest names and upcoming talent from all over the world. STRAAT is a street art and graffiti museum for everyone, made possible by a dedicated team of enthusiasts. Our current exhibition displays more than 180 artworks by 170+ artists. The artworks were created on-site and most of these mind blowing visual experiences are as big as outdoor walls. STRAAT resides in an 8000 m2 former warehouse on the NDSM wharf, both a national monument and the biggest outdoor playground for graffiti and street art in Amsterdam.

“In homage to the early Dutch master Hieronymus Bosch, whose famous triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights envisions a bizarre, ecstatic landscape in which characters explore euphemisms of sexual exploration and freedom before ‘The Fall of Man’ - basically, the dopest gay cruising painting ever made. I have long been inspired by Bosch’s work, and spent two days drawing in front of the original...

Nice!
phony CIA masquerading as art. interested in truth click the link for a total take down of this phony jerk. mileswmathis.com/obey.pdf
Any museum that allows public art on the outside is a HUGE win
I love his works but let's be honest, his art is the armed arm of the society he pretends to criticize. He literally became the artist of gentrification and that's why he's so famous. People please themselves by reading his vanilla anti establishment messages, they say "I knew it, Cocacola in bad, Art is better than war, the gov lies, et cetera" but those thoughts don't lead to any concrete action to solve the problems exploited by Fairey. It is a complacency about how bad the world is and luckily there is someone who says it for me. Anyway, I really like his art from an aesthetic point of view
And this is the guy who sold his soul to Obama … now lecturing us on social and community cohesion through creativity 🤦♂️
Always funding for propaganda
the goddamnfather❤❤
Love it! 🤍
Shepard Fairy is a fraud
I am always having problem with seeing high profile artists talking about anti establishment. Isn't he also a multimillionaire?

Where is Splasher when you need him. "By challenging what the experts term 'street art', our actions have, in turn, uncovered an alliance between the coercive force of the state and the "creative class" of the artist."
0:46 he's wearing a mets hat AND a braves jersey??
This man can do no wrong.
Artists who tell others what to think are egotistical and arrogant. Why should we all think like SF?

This movement that I’ve been involved in and heavily invested in for 40 years has disappeared up its own back side as a generation of ultra poser hijacks it for their own agenda to try and appear virtuous.
An inspiring and insightful overview … and compellingly accurate
Empowerment and justice? Get over yourself you fabulously wealthy puppet. You have done so little to actually benefit any of these causes that it is negligible
