Hello Bordeaux! #francais #motovlog #bandit650 #gsxr600
What happened there at 4:54 at the traffic lights? Luggage crash :D
Had a look back, seems the woman beside the car on left lost control of her suitcase and it bashed into the side of the Renault car eekk!!🫣
Thanks. Can you use the inflator whilst it is charging?
@youtubing448 let me check this out with a test and come back
@youtubing448 so I tested and it won't charge and inflate at the same time. If you try to inflate then plug power in will stop inflating and same outcome if plug in and then try to inflate. Taking it some safety measure to not overload unit or what it plugged into. Hope this helps
@@moto_thread Thanks for checking that out!
Cool. Subscribed.
Thanks for the watch @SteveM109r
If you're off to Monaco, down the A8, lots of speed cameras, especially from the Antibes junction onwards. Hope you read this in time!
Thanks Brian, the ones in the tunnels are sneaky. I think I dodged them, not sure on Robbie 😂
@moto_thread Haha, yes, sorry I should have warned you about that one, especially. It's had me a few times even though I know it's there.
If you wish to get into real legal trouble in France then film people and their cars/plates and post it online.

Великолепное видео 😊
What is your height?
@mikailpautong3483 170cm/ 5'7"
How are the stands holding up so far? Cheers
Hi @FernandoBea, in their 3rd year of ownership and stands are still in good shape and doing the job. No sign of rust, wheels still solid (no center wear). Would still recommend these as an affordable option.
Great, thanks a lot!
Do you need spools for the front forks or do the just grip the bottom of the forks?
Can you get them on over your boots? If it starts raining part way through your ride, this would be an important consideration.
Hi @22Beefman, yes with the zips opened you can, probably best to keep open to when that cursed shower arrives, not end up fiddling with unzipping first. I've had to pull over on a road trip and throw these on in a down pour. I found them quick to get into, the zip opens near up the knees so gives plenty room to go over a Dainese race boots or the likes.
I am deciding whether I should get the 30 liter or 40 liter version.. You think the 30 liter will be enough for a 7 night motorcycle trip when taking the bare essentials?
thanks @furkann9536 for the question. For a 7 day trip with the bare essentials, from my own experience definitely! Once it is expanded and with the 4 pockets it carries all I've need. A buddy of mine also has one of these and has done 7-8 day trips around Europe. If you are worrying that you might be limited on space go for the 40 litre, it is a bit bigger but I doubt you will notice it all that much. Hoping this helps and wishing you a safe trip!
@@moto_thread thanks for the elaborate response! Yes I also had the feeling that it probably would be enough, but now that I know your buddy made it with 7-8 days I am all set! The 40 liter version had to be fastened with lashing straps once expanded.. so that was a deal breaker. I opted for the 30 liter and can't wait to try it out. Thanks for your review, it definitely helped!
Omg thank you for answering the laptop question!
No problem!!
Your review very helpful.. Oxford should give you something on this bro...tq
Thanks for the comment, I'd happily be an Oxford reviewer 😁
So how was the bag after 2 years? Does the zipper still intact and Holding on tightly?
Bag is still holding good with no wear and tear issues on the zips. On discoloration, the bag continues to keep its color, the base piece that the bag zips too has gone a bit purple around the zip area but you cannot see that when mounted, only when not connected. Overall is standing the test of time.
Thanks for your review it was great, nicely put together, as a result I'm buying a pair.. 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Why the stupid music over the whole video...
Thank you for making this review. Does this jacket have any pockets?
@fredmeyer3063 the jacket has only one pocket. Its a chest pocket on the left side. It will hold a standard size phone. I'm not sure it would fit XL size phone. Thanks for asking.
What is your what is your weight and chest size?
Hi @presentmnd weight 63kg and chest 37
@@moto_thread thank you sir
cheers 4 the review very helpful
Glad it helped
Do you go a size up to go over your leathers. I have rst leather jacket with the hump.
Hi Fergus, I don't have experience with the rst jacket with the hump and would say best to go a size up unless you are ok with it been very snug. For reference I wear an alpinestar airbag vest under my dainese leather jacket(jacket has no hump) with the Oxford jacket over the top. The airbag has a hunch due to the integrated back protector and the jacket is pulled more backwards from the chest to lower neck(hope that makes sense). It probably not as pronounced as the rst hump that said. The fit is very snug, though the Oxford jacket has some adjustments around the wait and cuffs to help keep it neat. Hope this helps.
@@moto_thread thank you. Keep that in mind 👍👌
This jacket is good for a light rain, but in downpour as it was the case last year in Germany, you will be soaking wet. It is far from waterproof.
💪🤘 Great Trip! Thanks for sharing!
❤
Got the same jacket - completely waterproof and comfortable to wear. Always found Oxford gear to be good quality and good value.
Thanks for the comment and glad the jacket doing its job
Thank you for your review. Answered my question re laptop perfectly. Appreciated.
Glad I could help!
But are they waterproof?
Thanks Robert, indeed a fair question. I was riding in france in September and had to endure a couple of downpours, these over trousers kept me dry as a bone. Money well spent in my mind and would recommend.
@@moto_thread I'm baffled cos I have them over a pair of tracksuits n I get soacked round my groin area underneath the bum where u sit on a moped. Like am I missing something cos they're not very waterproof at all. Do they need to worn over another pair of proper motorcycle thermal trousers or what?
@Kevin Conroy, I wear mine over my jeans and have not had any issues so far. It could be that the over trousers are acting as thermal insulator and causing heat build up and sweating in that area, since you do not mention other areas such as leg getting wet. Thermals wicking under layer might help to wick away the heat. You could try with jeans although it sounds like heat build up would still happen, if you are sitting for a good commute. The wicking under layer might do the trick. Unless there is evidence of water getting in around seam area on your trousers (could check that), which would be a defect and recommend exchanging in that case. Above are only from my experience but hope this helps.
@@moto_thread I dunno but the trousers to me are shit tbh. I had water down to my boxers, its not perspiration either cos I get that n it's not as severely drenched
@@kevinconroy3259 sorry to hear you have a bad experience with them, for me they have worked without issue. Recommend you go back to shop you purchased and request a refund if they not working as expected. I wish you the best with it.
nice trip 👍 Something I found with my camera was to switch off the stabilisation and it got rid of that wave effect when you go over bumps and gave a much improved result. It was good to see the costs included 👏 in the vid.
Thanks @bleary View for the watch and I appreciate the advice on stabilisation I will definitely give that a try in the future

Moto_Thread!total ousttanding content! 🔥
thanks man, bought this after watching your review, for the ,price dont think your beat it, how long it lasts will be interesting, cheers steve
Enjoyed that, good man.
Thanks Des
Thanks for the review. Must admit I tend to wear overtrousers in cooler weather even when it isn't raining as they help to keep heat in, quite considerably!
Yes, a great idea as a wind breaker on those cooler days as opposed to layering up more.
That's exactly why i ordered mine for 😂
guy-Thank you- professional shots-all the best!=)
Nice bike, and video. 👍
Thanks for watching

Bordeaux, France
Good review, on both the jacket and bottoms. Just ordered both from Sportsbike shop for £43.36 inc delivery. Will be throwing these in the top box of africa twin & hoping they will fit beneath cowl on Street triple RS.
Thanks Paul for the watch, hopefully the sun will shine and these will be a solid backup just in case. 😎
I was looking at one of these as a new rider. Supposedly my textile jacket is waterproof, but I think that means the inner lining is waterproof, meaning the outer textile would need drying, which isn't always convenient. Seen for £24.99, so may well be worth it and the extra visibility wouldn't go a miss I suppose.
Yep agree for visibility in the rain the brighter the better
Check always for laminated, so the outside will be water repeller for at list 2 hour !
Thank for Review ♥️👌♥️
do they ride up when you sit on the bike tho
Hi @Laughing Dog, the fit of these trousers is on the baggy/loose side so there is some give/freedom/movement in them for when you get into a sitting or tucked position on the bike. In my experience riding out with these over the last few weeks, so far they do not move that much or noticeably to require pulling and dragging at them mid-journey. Hope this helps.
Great great great video
Thank you
👏👏👏
