Thank you! I see this video is 5 years old so am wondering if you still use these same methods for cutting chip board or have learned any new tips? I've spent like 3 days researching paper cutters especially with chip board in mind (and at least small stacks of paper for planners/notebooks). What I basically keep seeing is these 4 methods you mentioned: 1. mat, ruler, exacto 2. mat, ruler, rotary 3. Slider type paper cutter 4. Guillotine type paper cutter With slider type cutters replacing blades can be needed, and guillotine blades can dull too. Replacing blades is a cost I'd like to avoid, and some style don't have replacements available. So self-sharpening styles really stand out to me. High-end enough can include a clamp. Products tend to get mixed reviews. Cutting straight can be an issue. A tip I've been hearing is instead of one forceful cut which can strain a machine or person, a series of light cuts can be good - which your video also suggests! I wonder if scoring first is useful? Either way am thinking a mat, ruler, and rotary around seems wise if even as a back-up plan or for smaller cuts. I wonder if those single handheld rotaries need replaced often if using on chipboard a lot? Another option I'm considering is glueing multiple thinner chipboard (or mat board? maybe that's the same thing?) together to maybe add up to a thicker one. So could cut and punch them separately before glueing. For more cutting and punching ease. Crop A Dile makes hearty hole or disc punchers too!! (I'm getting all set up to launch a day planner shop.)

Debra, your art is stunning. I've watched all 3 videos on this Stationery Box multiple times. I really liked the die-cut lid flap, but didn't have that die, so I created an svg file to use with my Scan-N-Cut. I made two versions, and sized each of them (according to your dimensions) for the chipboard and the cardstock. I wanted to share them with you, but didn't see a way to do so. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creations.
