There is a fatal flaw with ESP method feeders, there is a slot in the tube at the back where the line goes in, why the hell it was designed like that, I have no idea. What this means is, the line rubs against the metal plate which has a ridge in it, the result is a cut line. I discovered this when I was landing a fish and my new 15lb line broke just as I got it in the net.
