I really like the 4 way intensity knob. Great for different pickup types.
Hey everyone, thanks for watching! And please subscribe- we really appreciate the support. Do you think it's a good investment to replace your Phase 90 with a Phase 100 due to its extra options? Tell us here!
I think the differences are not significant in my opinion. Good luck with your channel! 👍
That second jam on the trailer! Whew! Amazing!
Thanks a lot, Man!
I "accidentally" got one of the Made in Japan Black from my uncle back in the early 00's, I did suspect I was sitting on a treasure with that one.. Do you know how many of the wooden ones were made?
Hey, thank you for the comment. It isn't clear how many wooden Roswells were made. I haven't seen many black ones around, lucky you! Cheers
For what is each lead? I mean what is the use of each lead the one with delay or reverb is for solos or harmonies?
For the solo I used the "lead w/reverb" patch on my Metallica Liveset. At 35 seconds on the short are two different guitar solos which are harmonized.
@@VibeAlchemy so the one with delay?
please consider subscribing Man!
@@VibeAlchemy i am suscribe 😉
@@Nachodlct Yeah I didn't include the delay so people could add it if they wanted to
Salute from Finland 🔥🎸😎
🔥🔥🎸🎸
Thanks Man! 🙏🔥
Oh! Nice giitar riff.
Thanks for this comparison, I was looking for something. But… it would of been fair to connect the TC in front of Katana as well, NOT from DI. This way the two pedals could of been compared in almost same conditions.
You look like Pep Guardiola
Ive read boss showcased the fdr in front of a roland jazz chorus back then. Personally Id go for the tc though.
Yo prefiero el Small Stone, el switch de color me permite alcanzar velocidades más rápidas. Yo sé que hablas español, Roberto! Un saludo.
Muchas gracias! The Small Stone sounds great. I prefer the oldest version of it. Ciao!
Hi man! Can you try the same thing with a Strat? Sounds better to me!!
very rare sounds on ehx ....xtrange noice
That video was great, I did not know very much about Les Paul, now I do. keep it up!
Thanks a lot Man
Hey thanks for watching! This list of guitarists isn't exhaustive. There are other stories of influential guitarists who constructed their own guitars or designed and branded them and then put them on the market. Have you ever tried any of these instruments? Share in the comments!
piss
Just bought a phaser pedal,,,,from the amp ,,,where does it go ,,,I believe it goes before overdrive pedals,,,,any help. Appreciate
Amazing demo!!! You just made me even more excited about my new purchase and I didn't think that was possible. Great work!
Very good review. I own one, and agree that a setup was needed. It was far from perfect, but only setup wise. The guitar cable input jack had to be fixed, it was bending the guitar cable tip causing it to be UNgrounded, and once fixed, it is better now but not 100%, as it is not snug enough compared to what it should be like, but no more grounding issues. The pick-up pots needed adjustment as well. So, all that said and done, it is a guitar I pick up more often than my much more expensive others, and based solely on the Meteora's spectacular tone. I still would buy it again, if I lost the one I have.
Thanks, Man. I happy you like it too. I think it's great guitar. I absolutely love the aesthetic, sound and the playability. I still have some issues with the three-way switch, though. I sprayed it with contact cleaner more than once.
WORST CLEAN TONE REVIEW I SAW
Hi friend! What configuration do you use in the delay of the flights of the bumblebee?
Hey Man! The settings can be slightly different according to the delay you are using. For this video I used a digital delay. The time was set at 1/8 dotted and the feedback was at 0 which means basically just one repetition. I set the BPM of the metronome at 195. In some cases, if your delay asks you to set the milliseconds, you'll need the formula I outlined in the video.
thanks this review!, I´ve decided for this one!
Right on, Man!
Great video. I've been torn between the two and I was leaning toward the Cinders because of the price but I really like the sound and dynamics of the Blues Driver. Personally I liked the BD with single coils better than the Cinders.
Think for single coil the TC electronics is better because it's a little fuller sounding... It also has a cooler gain when it's fully cranked. I've owned both. They are both great but I kept the TC. I play a Telecaster so I liked that little bit of fullness
Shits beautiful
No, Strings are😅
non dimenticare Kirk Hamet used a Fernadez strat copy for at least "And Justice for ALL"
After all, you can’t go wrong with any of these two classics. At some point of the speed knobs, they can get really similar. Overall, the MXR is smoother and more friendly. The EXH can get really crazy and sounds a little but sharper to me. But, again, both are classics.
Wonderful demo & review. Best one I’ve seen
Thanks a lot, Man! 🎸
Surprised you didn't include Eddie Van Halen on this list. Their first album was recorded with a home made strat style guitar and an old Marshall with several different cabinets that were beat to hell.
I have Jolana Iris - Czechoslovakian guitar , replica of Fender Telecaster . East Warsaw pact communist guitar from 1989 .🙂
That Tele Prince played is awesome
JJ Cale was not only a guitarist/ singer/ songwriter, he was an engineer. He had an old Harmony acoustic that he had tinkered with over the years...the thing looked vaguely menacing, like something the Crypt Kicker Five would play! It had a very unique sound.
I didn't know his story, but I'll check it out!
Slash's Les Paul replica was not a cheap guitar. Cheaper than the ridiculously inflated price of a '59 vintage Gibson, sure, but I doubt it was cheaper than a current-model Gibson.
And it was probably one of if not the best playing guitar he ever played on. But at least the brand ambassador now plays authentic.
Yeah, it wasn't cheap for sure, probably at the time it was a good option for the situation.
😉Mark Agnesi can breathe freely now@@Hipsters_N_Hippies
Randy California of Spirit used a single pickup Silvertone branded Danelectro for Spirit's early albums.
Brands are important for resale value....
Unless you don't sell them. I've never sold a guitar in my life. Plus there is no way I'm paying extra for a name on a headstock when I can get something as good for a fraction of the price. Plus both Fender and Gibson's quality control is shit. Better stuff coming out of China nowadays.
@@Davey-Boydthats what all poor people say. Nothing wrong with fender or gibson, other than the people who can’t afford them complaining they can’t afford them
@@Ottophil I'm far from poor. I have four homes in four countries. I work in the music industry. Their quality control is abysmal. Overrated beyond belief.
Paying too much for an instrument doesn't make your playing any better...buy what works for you...
70s and 80s? Fernandes still makes a slew of guitars today.
Awesome! I love my vester guitars 🤘🏻
Yeah Man, definitely pretty under-estimated guitars. I love mine too 🔥
Can't believe you overlooked Eddie Van Halen?
Hey, Man, I'm a Van Halen fan I didn't overlook him. He was a Great and his story was a little different because he actually built, painted and modified guitars, so I decided not to include him in this video. I want to tell his story in future content 🎸🔥
Yes his Kramer striker strat
I have a strat replica from a company called Crafter, they now only make acoustic guitars. It is the best guitar I have ever played and I can't find anything about it online.
Hey Man, cool! I've tried a Crafter guitar and it was really well-made
This trick is very inspirating!!
Thanks, Man!
Hey thanks for watching! This list of guitarists isn't exhaustive. There are/were so many stories of influential guitarists who used replica and/or inexpensive gear to share. I didn't forget Eddie Van Halen, I have already planned to do a video about influential guitarists who actually designed and constructed their own guitars and his story is so important. Do you have any stories to share about any non mainstream guitars you've owned and played and are particularly a fan of? Share it in the comments!
GTX And Firefly.
@@robertdamron898 Thanks Man for the comment, I haven't heard of those. I'll check them out
GTX Guitars were apart of the Kamen Corp Back in the 80's I REALLY Wish that I STill Had IT I Loved It
amazing! Thanks!
They really don’t sound the same at all, I’m not sure how people are listening to this video, but the blues driver is far clearer and has a different mids focus. Cinders sounds a little bit like it has a blanket over it in comparison, but standalone as a pedal it sounds good! I’d go BD2 W though
There's a tone knob.
Which phaser do you have on at the beginning and what is the setting?
I used the Phase 90 and I think I remember the setting was Eddie's setting he used on "Unchained", so around the 9 o'clock position
Both sound really good. Best demo I have found on these pedals
Thanks, Man
For me the TCE due to ergonomics (knobs & phones jack), they all sound good or good enough to my ear 👌🤠
Hey yeah I agree the phone output could be really useful and those knobs are cool 🔥
Legal de ++ amigo. Sabe me dizer se o Boss FDR-1 ligado em um pedal CAB ou IR ficaria legal direto na placa?
Thanks Man! The Boss FDR-1 is connected to the front of my Boss Katana combo and I connected the Rec Out of the Katana to my sound card. 🎸
