Thanks for the review, but you do not need the Remarkable stylus. The Steadler jumbo mimics the functionality of this marker, although some say it does not feel exactly the same. In addition, the Lamy AL Star is well regarded for us on the Remarkable.

Descript has a sucky UI/UX... the latest version is even worse... the UI has shit everywhere... plus the text is limited to 4500 words... not even 30 mins worth of meetings. I regret having purchased it.

I have some questions, 1-how do I publish my book on amazon in both kindle and print on demand at the same time so both options appear in same page for the buyer? 2- one of my books is 8.5*8.5 and contain 243 pages all pages are bleed, in this case what about the binding size? 3- did you choose the pages inside glossy or matt, they look great. 5- I didn't understand the "royal" thing, for example, if I sell my book for $12 how much I get 6- Finally, do I get the payment after each purchase, or monthly for all purchases each month? Sorry for all these questions :)))

Did you get pro or creator to start? Also, when I see 1000 word limit? What does that mean? Only 1000 words of overdub, of transcription/speech recognition? What does the transcriber do if you are singing? I just saw a video of ai reproduction of a singer's voice. Do you or anyone know if I can just get the ISBN # and have my book printed myself and just sell it on my amazon seller account? I've been selling used and new books on Amazon for years, and many times when the price of the book goes down, they de-activate my listing until I bring my price down to match the lowest. This worries me that they might do that with my book. Anybody know?

With the music modernization act in place and the creation of MLC, is there still a need for using songtrust? Looking at your chart (great by the way) and added MLC, then wouldn't that capture the mechanical royalties and not give 15% to Songtrust. you'd still Distrokid for sales and PRO for performance and soundexchange for non-interactive. Seems it'd be worth the 5% extra commission to not pay Songtrust $100 up front (for most independent musicians) and let distrokid collect the UA-cam royalties. Or are there other mechanical royalties Songtrust would collect that MLC would not?

I am missing a feature: I can't seem to overdub my own voice in VIDEO mode with one of the presets. Maybe in a later version?

Very informative, I just jumped in descript few days back or else I'm a video editor since 2007 (fcp7, avid, & now premiere) and yeah this whole AI thing seems pretty interesting. i did notice a few things like you mentioned, not being able to move layers on the descript timeline. great video I'm trying my first children's book,very similar to yours. .I'm only 18 pages including using the cover inside flap and the back flap. does 24 pages include front cover and back cover ? I understand your comment on filler, but I was going to put the copy right on the inside flap cover, and thank you on the back flap. my story is 15 pages.
