    One of those that destroyed Manila was the American military. They bomeb the whole of Manila in believing that there were still remaining Japanese soldiers hiding within the premises of government buildings. The Americans had to bombed the whole of Manila for these Japanese to come out and surrender. All that is beautiful in the city was utterly destroyed. Fortunately some edifices were spared and are still standing today.
