Afew things when it comes to The Island, I've not read anywhere that it says that it's going to be an online mode so who's to say that it is? I watched I think it was Assembles video about it and he brings up afew few good points. He said he could see it being a single player mode for a various of reasons, one being the name of the mode kind of gives it away, the island sounds like a different single career mode based around Roman and if you can only have 8 players online what would be the point, they've got new online servers yes but who's to say they're any good, I wouldn't be suprised if it is a single player mode for this year like Assemble said to test the waters and if its gonna be an annual mode then take it online next year with a new name like WWE World which would make more sense for a title to be an online mode than The Island Of Relevancy

I agree I would love to see free Roman in WWE 2K 25 my rise when you can walk around backstage with your character interact with divas or the WWE superstars or enter in different rooms the general manager office SmackDown versus Raw2011 Was fire you had that option to do that walk around the backstage area interact with the divas and WWE superstars you can enter in different rooms. You can go in the general manager’s office.

Gosh, I hope we don't have a career mode like 2K20, bro - a crybaby match. What are we doing? That career mode was so bad in my opinion. Hopefully this year we will see some awesome stuff with MyRise.

They need to make where wreslers can have more distance when it comes to high flying moves. Like for example, If I'm doing a flying elbow drop with Randy Savage and the wrestler isn't close to the turnbuckle and he is laying in the center of the ring, then Randy Savage should be able to make it and not miss. Because if it was in real life Savage would have made it across the ring. Same with a missle dropkick, the wrestler should be able to connect when the other wrestler is a further distance away. They should miss or botch it

I would like to see the crowd reaction to be better for more fan favorite wrestlers, or just to see the crowd more active and engaged

With NBA 2K25 it’s says up to 10 players online so it must be a bug because in “The City” you can have much more players than that so most likely is bugged for WWE 2K25

Too bad OMG moments didn't make it's way back. I liked being able to do certain omg moments. I don't really care about chain wrestling though. Hopefully the other things in the game will make this year game enjoyable to pick up and play. It would be nice if they have the referee move more around in the ring.. perhaps they fixed that for this year game. Now that you can pick ring announcers, too bad you can't pick commentary team for your match. One thing that has never been talked about is graphics difference between PS5 and PS4 etc.. i would like to hope there is some other things other than the Island mode being offered for PS5 etc.

They should legit just have brought back create a story! It was one of the most fun features I've ever played in a game.

The combos makke it so we can add extra moves in the game , because there are superstars that have 30 to 40 moves and i like being able to add those moves.

I like my rise for the unlockables but unfortunately 2k24 didn't guve us the wrestlers we went up against for regular gameplay like wwe2k22 did.

No voice overs promos will be stale tho

I think the wrestling is in a good space right now and as far as the underground match goes, I guess it makes sense since UFC(MMA) and WWE are under the same umbrella of TKO! However I don’t remember anyone asking for the match either but hey, I’m glad it made its way into the game along with other first first us and the series! Love them YEET DEETS Uce! 😎🤙🏽🔥

eh NBA 2K has 30 people online per lobby for their city mode and it still says up to 10 online players with PS Plus on the notes. 10 because 5 v 5 games are played at most. wwe 2k says 8 cuz thats the most they have in matches. so there is still a chance online Island mode can have 20-30 in a lobby.

Promos and branching paths in Universe mode with cutscenes sounds good. MyRise is my go-to as well. hopefully the Island may still have light wreslting-themed quests or tasks you can do without going into multiplayer stuff, though.

The title divisions do work, they help prevent the AJ vs tazowa rivalries. It helps make matches based on divisions instead of random matches

this is a pretty small thing and probably won't be brought back but I want them to bring back the special effects and the sound effect that we had with finishers during the svr era (SVR 2010 to be more specific) Finishers felt a lot more impactful in those games

I love my rise it’s reason I buy the game now I only get one story , I am not happy about that. I don’t play online I am not interested in it. I hope the island isn’t entirely focused on online fights .

9:24 Man you forgot something in 2022 they change the submission mini game I like the other mini games for submissions in previous games honestly I don't know what was the purpose to change the submission mechanics maybe was cause online spammer's honestly I don't know I don't play this games online cause when you play online vs people it feels to play WWF Wrestlemania the Arcade Game spam spam spam LOL also this system benefits the submission artist wrestlers thank god in 2k24 they allow you to adjust a little bit the damage in submissions... still I want my submission mini game like 2k20 or at least let you choose what mechanic you want for submissions.

Even tho I’m satisfied on what they’re bringing to us this year… but as you said, I was looking for more match types like I quit, bull rope/Strap match, three stages of hell, the pitch black match, inferno & the fight pit I also wanted 3 to 4 attires for each model, like they did in the past
