I mean if the pot is too small the problem is not the selfwatering function, correct me if Im wrong
The pot wasn’t too small, its the soil that plugs that tiny hole in the self watering pot and causes water to stagnate. I just do not like them and cannot use them long term. So in the ground she went!
Cool video. Here in MD, we had about 90% eclipse. I tried to get pics with my cell by putting the glasses over the camera lens, didn't work well. Weird, even at 90%, it was still pretty bright outside. Amazing how bright the sun actually is.
Thank you! We were thrilled to see it at 100% and wanted to video for the world to see! The sun is suuuuper bright, so it is very hard to dim that light! Glad you were able to see some of it! 90% is still awesome!
It’s beautiful! Just something I always do, after it’s settled in it’s new home for a few days maybe get her in a new pot the same size with a drainage hole if it doesn’t have one, take that moss off the top and give her some soil with perlite/bark anything to chunk up the soil. Lowe’s has amazing plants but sometimes the soil seems to heavy and not chunky enough for air and drainage. ❤
Thank you! I usually have issues with Walmart instead of Lowe’s! I like to let them acclimate to the house for a bit before repotting- unless it has root rot! Thank you for the advice! Plants are a wonderful addition to life! ❤️
@@LoveLeighAdventures they are I love them. Walmart in my area has stepped it up a bit but the Home Depot’s are atrocious. All the local nurseries are infested with pests so lowes has become my happy place 😂
It’s so sad to see such wonderful plants being neglected at big box stores and being riddled with pest! :/

I was always told the same thing! The berries are toxic, but the leaves are not! It is native here and is the only plant in Northern America that has caffeine! It’s been used for such a long time!
