Yes, Nomad. I usually run 950-1050rpm and get 8.5kts at 2mpg no gen. Don't remember gen consumption however only really use gen in sub tropics. Also downhill is a bit better consumption. Yah it's heavy with the dry reef, open ocean currents but sooooo fun! Not one other person out. Place should be towed in. We were out gunned with 5'10 or so boards so couldn't grab the bigger ones. So rad out there!

@@SaltyGroms We toured the Ocean Yacht 57 Odyssey a couple weeks ago and it was a wreck. We are heading to Baltimore to look at a Sea Ray 540 Cockpit Motor Yacht tomorrow, fingers crossed.

10kts for fast cruise, 9kts average cruise which is about 980rpm and then 8kts for long range cruise. Not much difference but can save on a ton of fuel. Thanks for watching!

Yes! We will be down just after Xmas. Stop by if your around. Davit just got installed this week. Old davit failed and it took about 6 months to get the new one made then got miss routed to chiappas and finally arrived in pv. Crazy! Will you be around after xmas?

Crazy right! It was completely pointless to try descalating the situation. No matter what we said or tried to do she and her son were looking for a fight. It got to the point I thought it was going physical and her other son jumped in and yelled at them. Off camera he said she does this all the time when drinking. Poor kid having to deal with such a horrible mother and brother but lots of appreciation he stepped in before it got out of hand. Oh, and it was like 9am and she was this drunk!!!

@@SaltyGroms no. Right now I have the inshore mobile plan. Should I go to the Bahamas next spring I’ll temporarily upgrade to the ocean plan. There is a high priced plan for mega yachts and cruise ships that is 5k/month. Starlink has become more aggressive and will shut down subscribers who don’t follow their contracted plan. They can tell how fast you are moving on the mobile plan and if you are “too far off shore” they will shut you down. Again they don’t define offshore. Is coastal cruising too far offshore. At least, those are the current limitations.
