Last weekend we were lucky enough to be able to join Beyond the Blacktop on their annual Greenlaw Mountain Halloween Run. For Thanksgiving, we got together with all the folks we're thankful for and hit the trails. Our plan was to go to McAdam and have some lunch and head back. This week we went out with a smaller group that included the kids. We were headed to a new spot which we don't often get to do so we were excited to see some new terrain. The trip didn't disappoint. Currently installing one on my 24 brute and not sure where to splice my rocker switch into because it needs power, i guess i go off the factory 12v plug ? And if so would that plug still have power for my speaker
It's hard to explain, but if your winch remote has 2 wires off of it, yes, you can splice into your power side of your 12v plug. But if the winch you bought only has 2 wires off of the remote, you have to hook up to you battery. So it all depends on the winch. Hope this helps!
You guys find the greatest trails!! Do you ever map them on the quad nb app? I’d love to retrace some of your videos below St. George, and up towards Mcadam- except for that one that led to the super deep beaver pool you had to back out of! Haha.
WE have started to use Gia a bit but we haven't really mapped it's something we have talked about we just haven't fully figured that part out yet lol.
We would like to get to the point of having the maps on our website with an article talking about it.
@@OakHillCrewthat would be awesome!! I know a lot of the trails you use are known trails that aren’t “quad nb” maintained or mapped on their app so to go some of your destinations would mean trial and error. I prefer to know my route. Haha
I've out to Greenlaw mountain several times in Bayside. Nice railway bed out past little Shamcook lake.... How do I get an Oak Hill Crew sticker??
We have bunch we handed some out at this last run we haven't figured out exactly yet how to do merch to support the channel but slowly working on it.

I had a Yamaha with power steering that would jerk to one side while driving. I thought it was the eps unit but turned out to be the outer cv joint on the side it was jerking towards.
We all thought that when powersteering failed it would act like it didn't have power steering. We found a boot was ripped and a new axle on that side and all the parts ordered.
I dunno, jacking the suspension up before hitting the mud hole is pretty good!
Brings back memories. Our family used to go to Kings Landing all the time.

What a great day this was. Some steep hills to climb but definitely worth that lunch at Ossies OMG it was delish! Miss my phone pushed through some fears (not without some tears 😉 ). Way to go OHC

YOU have LOW range for a reason.. FFS. To crawl over stuff. Not wheelie over stuff. Smoother operations is always faster. Studded Tires make your bike safer for climbing over rocks and logs. Not just use in the winter time. It's not even a bad trail...
1) bad is relative 2) glad you the time and money to switch out your tires all the time 3) your ability to discern high vs low range from sound is uncanny 4) wheeling over stuff is 100% more fun
