Сначала рассказываю о моём опыте путешествий, как они на меня повлияли (а также в целом о том, как начать путешествовать), потом примерно с 40 минуты больше о психологии путешествий в целом (об исследованиях счастья от общения с незнакомцами, о влиянии языков на наше мышление и т.д.)

We spent the night at the campsite on the shore, with hippos walking around at night, and some small furry animals running around as well. We met Russians in Watamu, walked along the ocean shore at night under an almost full moon, swam, held urchin fish in our hands, there were a lot of them at night. Kenya. Mtwapa. Today at high tide we encountered a common longhorn cowfish (The longhorn cowfish). It is poisonous, and also very very slow and easy to catch by hand. He lives in the corals, and apparently swam to shore by accident. Very nice fellow!

We rented a car and went on safari for a whole day. All together (gasoline, car rental, entrance tickets cost us $74 per person), could have been cheaper, but local misunderstandings, etc. ate up 3 thousand bobs. Kenya, Nairobi!!!!!!! We found host at couch surfing and took the Party bus from the airport to her house. I'm one step closer to my dream of seeing Africa. We'll spend about a week in the United Arab Emirates and then fly to Kenya. It's great that we were able to set up points for the UAE in advance because it allowed us to see cool places, among other things. And a big thank you to the wonderful people we meet along the way.
