for someone who's around the skill level where you were about a year ago ( im literally at your stage right around when you did the chyan training arc), do you have any hard points of what really helped you progress ? like sources of what helped you practice anatomy, gesture drawing, coloring, etc
1. Master fundamentals, update your knowledge, maintain the knowledges constantly by doing warm up trainings before doing your official illustrations 2. Mastering no 1 will make your studies far easier 3. The best sources you can learn is Coloso, it's cheaper and better than art schools
thank you lots, really means a lot~ been struggling with the art journey, but going through your vods empowered me to push through to hopefully get to your stage one day. youre going to be absolutely massive one day, ill be keeping close watch on your progress~
Sadly none for now as I see myself not worthy enough to post artworks, I will update my channel description if I made SN accounts for my art. This channel only archives my process for now, so in the future I can compare myself on how I drew back then vs now
I made my own brushes + default photoshop brushes Brushes I made: - Pencil brush: used for sketching, it's a normal broad tip brush with a noise texture on it(pen's strength gets stronger when pressure applied) - Pen brush: used for lineart, sharp edges and corners(pen size gets bigger when pressure applied) - Brush(brush): An ordinary brush but with a broad tip - Soft brush: An ordinary brush with a broad tip(pen's strength gets stronger when pressure applied) Default photoshop brushes: - Soft round pressure Opacity and Flow (strength is at 0%) This is what i'm comfortable using with
