Anacani 💃 😍
I used to watch wrestling on Ch.45 out of Baltimore on Sat. At 4:00 PM..... They say Pat loved them youngens😅
My brother loved watching the programs. He would also watch it in the morning from Ch. 20 in Washington.
@@RobertGundlachMusic I think it was WDCA Ch.20 11:00 Sat.
You are absolutely right!

You're the best Robert. Thanks!
Is there a part 2? This ended before the show did! I enjoyed seeing it again. Thanks!
There is no part 2 -- as you can see, the tape ran out. I guess I posted a little over a hundred programs that were complete. Now I am just finding bits and pieces of ones that I never posted -- but like all of the Lawrence Welk programs -- they are just so good -- I hate not to share them. We grew up in wonderful times.
@@RobertGundlachMusic okay, thank you for the explanation and for posting these! I enjoy them, used to watch all the time, even when they went to PBS.
I recall seeing this one several times on PBS. What a treat, as always, to see these episodes.
I never get tired of seeing them either. We lived in such wonderful times.
How fun that they were able to do this! Thanks for the upload!
I guess it was more a vacation than work -- hopefully!
So many toe tapping tunes! Thanks!
Many thanks! We grew up in such wonderful times.
I find it interesting that Art Duncan’s tap routine (to “Jingle Jangle Jingle”) was edited out. Was that how it actually aired? (All subsequent PBS showings of the episode have it included.)
I had to look up one of the PBS programs -- and I see exactly what you mean. The only thing that comes to my mind is that -- as you can see - the original VHS tape had run out -- with about 7 minutes to go. I did not edit the recording. My only thought is that Arthur Duncan was actually in the last portion of the program that was missing. I have seen the order altered in some of the PBS shows -- I think. Rob
@@RobertGundlachMusicIt actually was in between Steve Smith and Tanya’s numbers. So I’m not sure why it was excised-it was a great number. Maybe to fit in another commercial break.
Thanks -- I went back and looked for a PBS version and saw the same thing. Many thanks! Rob
It is ironic that Guy and Ralna are singing “This Land is Your Land” but Guy is playing a nice looking Yamaha guitar made in Japan. Kind of humorous isn’t it?
Oh wow! I never thought of that.
I read an article about how this episode all those came close to not being made. The ABC Network wanted guest Willa Dorsey to sing secular songs instead of the gospel and patriotic song she wanted to sing. Lawrence Welk told he network executives.that either Willa would sing her songs or she wouldn’t do the show. Long story short, the maestro himself won that argument and Willa sang her songs, and one of the best Lawrence Welk shows ever was made.
What a fascinating story! I am so glad you shared it. Rob

Wonderful!!! Thank you so much!!! Now … how about my other holy grail episode, the one that aired in March 1983… Crazy Rhythm from Oct. 1967???
I checked my database -- I do not have Crazy Rhythm.
@@RobertGundlachMusic Aww! thank you for checking. I hope someone somewhere has it. THIS episode that you uploaded is wonderful. I really appreciate that you took the time to do it.
Thank you!
There's a lot of Duke Ellington songs I don't know! Thanks for uploading this and broadening my knowledge!
You are welcome.
This was me and my grandmothers show. I use to love to watch and see what the ladies were going to wear.
It was such a wonderful show!
Bruno was right not wanting to shake Pat Patterson’s hand. He likely had it up some young wrestlers ass just minutes before.
But didn't Pat Patterson turn good shortly after this?
I think Mike Jackson wrestled till he was 70+ years old.....
I'll have to tell my brother that. He is the one who loans me his recordings to post.
The disrespect Patterson showed Mr.Albano is appalling.
I will pass this along to my brother who loans me his recordings. Thanks.
This airing dates to November 13th 1982.
Thanks so much for the date. I will add that into the video. Rob

Ava has such a wonderful voice!
Ray gave a great pile driver. He was careful with the ones he worked with. He was a great man. Even as a heel he was good to the fans.
I will pass this along to my brother -- who lets me post some of his old wrestling interviews. Thanks!
They had to have had so much fun on this episode! And anytime Norma sings Disney songs!
She had such a wonderful voice! Rob
This likely aired on February 26th 1983.
Many thanks -- I will add that. Rob
This likely aired on February 19th 1983.

I'm not the hugest fan of Halloween, but I always love watching these Halloween episodes! Thanks for preserving this!
Many thanks!
Thanks for the upload, would you happen to have the duke ellington show from 1974 from the following week?
Hi Jeff -- I still have your list - California Show, Disneyland 25th Anniv and The Three R's -- but for some reason the ones that I am finding now -- I had never put in my database. I will keep looking. Rob
Ok, sounds good thank you so much.
This is a Holy Grail episode as there is no good copy found on UA-cam
Many thanks -- but this copy is pretty bad. We never had cable in Baltimore City at this time -- although all the counties around us had it -- and we have tall building in the area -- so the pictures were always ghosty. Rob
@@RobertGundlachMusic I believe its the only full program on UA-cam
Oh wow!
This episode's airing dates to November 6th 1982.

This airing dates to October 30th 1982.

I guess that I have posted about a hundred shows that I had -- and now I am finding others that for some reason I never put in my database. I will keep an eye out for it. Rob

You are so correct!
Don't think I've seen this one! Loved the Lennon Sisters singing The Lonely Goatherd!
Thanks. This was such a wonderful program!
Robert, these Memories versions are great to see. We get to view the then-newly recorded Welk intros (and I loved his ad lib,"Oh yeah?", after his scripted remark about his age). In these days of almost no great entertainment, it is wonderful to see these programs. Thank you.
Many thanks. I love them also.
