All of the well-designed large studies FAIL to show ANY benefit to the laser vs Manual. The science should guide decision-making, not anecdotal reports, small studies and certainly not the recommendation of the surgeon who benefits financially from using the laser. And BTW the video above is not entirely accurate because a good surgeon can make a perfectly circular capsulorhexis. Furthermore the circularity does NOT influence the visual outcome - it just looks prettier to the naive observer.

Wonderful explanation. I am having mild cataract in 1 eye and no cataract in the other ( as per last eye examination). I am 60. My Eye power is - 6.75 / -7.5 . Is it possible to get IOL implanted by removing the natural lenses ? Or what are the other alternatives to see without glasses ?
