I got alot and yes its mostly smallies now, lots of walleye have been hunted by natives.

Walleyes (pickerel in Canada) are the best.

I love the dropshot in summer. I have started to find success with the Flat worm. I have the zman trickshots but never really worked for me. I think its just a bit too stiff. My go to is the Missile Baits Bomb Shot.

The boulder collision didn't sound good, but you landed some nice bass & a beauty pike for a bonus. Glad no motor damage. Think I would attach a permanent lanyard to motor for pulling it up. Looked to cold for a fair weather fisherman like me.
