Be prepared to learn arabic if you're planning to move here, because the EU will turn us into the next Iran.
It was a great country. But the last years its not good. No houses. Immigration, a lot of rain, and the poffertjes are more expensive.
Great, but also a AI generated video. This channel is now blocked from my recommendations.
BEST for what? My Dutch friends tells me it is in total chaos politically, nothing gets done for the people that live there!!!
As a citizen I approve this message.
Hahaha. Some people are never satisfied. Your friends are wining toddlers.😝 Btw those toddlers have caused the political problems by vothing for a delusional party that is disfunctional because of the delusion.
Whining people that voted for a whining party that can't get anything done.
The paradox however is that we never think the place to be the best. And this act of always complaining about the present situation, combined with always keeping an open mind to fantasize a better future instead of hoping for one; creates the force that puts us forth. If you’re a student and you receive the grade 6 (60%) while having worked your ass off, don’t feel bad. A 6 we think is okay, though there is still room for improvement.
If you continue like this, everyone will want to come to the Netherlands. And we don't really want that.
The best country for immigrants it is
Agriculture is killing the Netherlands: urban development has ground to a stop and the natural world is dying.
Bureaucratic EU rules are killing the Netherlands. Agriculture has been here forever. We have the BEST and most ADVANCED & CLEAN agriculture in the world. There is no nitrogen crisis. Just compare it to other countries.
I agree, we are great.
It’s great but it’s crowded, food is horrible and the quality of flats are terrible and expensive. Quality of life is good but not as good as countries such as Switzerland or Denmark. Purchasing power is also wayyyyy lower than Switzerland. Is pricey with relatively low wages. But, yes, is still great.

@rucky_665 Switzerland is an exceptional country.
The gas field is or is getting closed.
The Netherlands is not a utopia, and everyone’s experience is different. Unfortunately, mine has not been the most positive. If you're coming from abroad, it's important to be cautious, as some locals might try to use you for their own gain. In my experience working with Dutch colleagues, I've heard comments like ‘we should build a wall in this office between buitenlanders and us,’ which can create a clear division in the workplace. It often feels like locals get all the opportunities to start new projects and take credit, while those from abroad are mainly used to complete tasks on ‘their’ projects. I hope others have had better experiences, but this has been my reality.
Why do you think that you have experienced that? Full is full, 18 million is more than we can handle, so the locals get tired with people from abroad.
@@Amersfoortpower Thank you for your comment. I’ve been here for over 15 years, and while I understand concerns about population pressures, this isn’t just about numbers. If I had known from the beginning that people from abroad were mostly brought in to help build wealth and then treated as outsiders once that goal was achieved, I would have reconsidered coming. After all this time, it feels more like modern-day exploitation, where foreigners contribute but are then sidelined and pushed away. It’s not just about being 'full'-it’s about treating everyone, regardless of origin, with respect and equality. I also come from the legal, regulated part of migration, not the non-controlled one. And let’s not forget, these are decisions made by your government, whom you’ve chosen (sorry, I have no voting rights in your country). The blame shouldn’t be placed on those who come here legally and are allowed to do so.
@@mp3booplIsn't the toxic mentality of the company you work for to blame? How is the Dutch government involved in what you experienced? Btw I acknowledge the current government is xenophobic but they haven't accomplished anything of their anti foreigner agenda😁
@@nomennescio7457 I want to clarify this point, as I don’t see it that way either - the toxic mentality I have experienced in the workplace is not caused by the Dutch government. This is a separate issue related to workplace culture (or lack thereof) and the attitudes of certain individuals, which can be found in many places. I only mentioned the government in response to the comment about 'locals getting tired of foreigners.' Don't get me wrong, but this is already a political issue tied to immigration policy, which is controlled by the government.
Our recent elected extrem right goverment is destroing everything. We are entering the dark ages again. 😭
Im dutch and I approve this video 😊
You are Dutch, not dutch. Je bent Nederlander, geen nederlander!
The main reason why the Netherlands is so good is because Belgium is so close
belgium brings the neighbouring countries down
lol
And Germany 🇩🇪
so north belgium is far whealtheryr compaired to the so called randstad whealthregon and that in a nation far disfunctionaler than uss and all the while they dont care to add in the eu budget ore cover the euro to collaps they just dont cair there goverment is poor they seem far smarter than the sheep off the Netherlands always first in line to cut an arm off so the mp can have the topjob in nato
The Netherlands is so good because the countries central location and because off the tradition of trading going back to the golden age and before
Correction: The Groningen gas field was closed permanently recently because of earthquake risks.
Wouldn't that be an update? Instead of a correction?
They still waiting for help from our goverment same as Limburg but 1 day war in ukraine and billions went there to help people we dont know
Yes its sooo awfull. Its free, clean, cheap and very well organised. Russia, north Korea, USA and China are much much better. I forgot Iran, allso a pleasant country. Choose whatever suits you😂

Dus standshouders en regering VOL is VOL hun zijn de enige die genieten van de rijkdom die het volk opbouwt. Als je de 3e wereld binnen haalt wordt je vanzelf een 3e wereld.
You are totally wrong. Highly polluted country due to agriculture activities.
As a Dutchman, pollutiom here isn't even that bad compared to countries like the UK.
NL isn’t highly polluted. That’s what the left people want you to believe. It is polluted and this needs to be addressed of course. But in a reasonable and bearable pace. The environment isn’t more important than having a job. The environment and nature are flexible and resilient. Left people are always so one-sided because they don’t work in agriculture, industry, transport and commerce where the majority of us work, they are not in danger of losing their job. They get paid by our government., because they work in education, science, health, media, arts and the judicial system. All these job sectors are supported, paid directly or heavily subsidized by government (taxes). The left has the advantage to control the media, science and judicial system. That’s why we are in so much trouble as a country, not because of pollution.
De landbouw??? zie fabrieken en Chemours
Obviously an effectively propandized person here.
A little bit too much nutrients in the waters, that's all. I wouldn't that call highly polluted. I have been to South East Asia, have a house there, know about real pollution, both very visible and invisible.
It's getting worse and worse in a rapid speed due to luckseekers from all over the world especialy from arabic and african country's
Wat dacht je van eens zelf onderzoek doen naar dit soort zaken ipv onzin uitkramen.. Propaganda van Wilders & Co lijkt in ieder geval te werken. Lekker bezig man…
In what way does that affect you?
The netherlands is not utopia. People have to work hard to make a living. Its hard to find a house. Rents are high. Although there is a wide range of high quality fresh products, they are (very) expensive depending what store you buy them The netherlands still have affordable healthcare, social security, good balance between work and family time, right on payed vacation, payed sick leave and payed pregnancy and parental leave Oké the last part must sound like utopia for many of
Don't think they said it is an Utopia. It just the fact they punch far above its weight.
no?? netherlands has the most part time workers of the entire world. most people can make it that way. every western nation has housing problems.. but theres new neighbourhoods being built everywhere. lastly fresh products are available in most supermarkets for very cheap.. please dont comment on the country if you know nothing about it.
