Oh this is maybe tenth running shoes proper size video I've watched and yes, thanks to you I am now aware that the most practical way to check it is to try the insole first. Definitive sign. 👌
The knee bent side works the deep hip flexor. The extending leg works the glute/ham. The DB overhead works the lat/triceps. Also with completing opposite arm/leg Motion your abs/obliques get worked. Lots of bang for your buck with this one!
I've been recovering with Jones fracture in each foot. Now I can get out of medical boots. I just want to walk with best shoe to protect my feet and help me not injure them again, especially in 5th metatarsal. What is recommended? I usually wear an 8 B (medium) in a running shoe (new balance), though have not run for a few years but kept wearing them for walking. Injuries happened in low hiking shoe and barefoot.
I ran in Altra running shoes for five years and finally had enough. No it’s not because of the zero drop. For me they are very narrow at the 5th metatarsal. They widen “too late”. I decided to take some other brands and step on the insoles and quickly realized ASICS fit my foot really well. I have been wearing correct toes for years and have healthy feet. I also tried Topo for a couple years and they are too narrow at the 5th met too. The problem is I need size 10 with a size 9 foot. What happens is when the shoe gets longer it widens later (after the 5th met). ASICS glide series and Hoka wide are perfect
I believe Altra makes the best available shoe as far as it being zero drop, wide toe box, and less cushion. That being said if you do not have enough ankle ROM and calf strength it may not be the best place to start!
Just run barefoot, it’s faster than nail shoes
Isn’t it supposed to be opposite arms opposite legs?
wow, he has the most perfect feet i have ever seen! 🦶🏻 could we get a possible view of the soles too for educational purposes? 🙏🏾
WOW 🔥🔥🔥🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼! Grow your page easily - "promosm"!!
Tough stuff!
Ain't nobody cares
Why not just do it with a barbell? Idk if its a different exercise but seems easier with weight tbh
Why are you breathing out as if you have resistance? You’re curling a piece of string for Christ sakes!

Wow.

I am not a runner or do not have running shoes but my left foot pushes to the other toes like how u demonstrated.
Thanks for the post and do you suggest the best of Altra

so what should I do with my brand new narrow shoes?
Take them back to the store and get something better?
What does this work! Is it particularly effective for the forearms?
Yes, this definitely has a focus on forearm flexor strength geared towards rock climbing.
