Performing some important maintenance on the loader and a first time greasing for the new Everything Attachment 84” Land Shark Rear Blade. It take quite a bit of grease being new. I also spend some time cleaning out the grease cups so they don’t attract dirt.

Fuel Transfer Tank Repair-Not what I thought!
What is “drive mode”? Also, do you use the throttle pedal on this model to move forward/backward)?
This drive mode switch changes the point of engagement in the transmission. If you are using ground engaging implements they you would select that mode so the transmission engages quicker because of the resistance. The other mode is a smoother engagement for just driving. This model has the lever on the left side of the steering column to select forward and reverse

Nice New Holland I have a NH TN70A 70HP made in Italy 1600hrs I love it!!! It's a great Traitor....
What size tractor is that? And is it hydro?
This is an LS MT4 58. 58 horsepower. And it is a shuttle shift
Dopealicius supreme
Cutest baby goats!
Thanks for sharing the lighting upgrade to your LS MT458. 👍🏻 I'm planning to do this same upgrade to the lighting on my LS MT468 soon. Take care.
Great videos. It would be really useful if you did a side by side comparison video of your Boomer 50 and Mt4 58. I have an Mt 3 45e, and I'm looking at trading in for something with a cab. I'm waffling between an mt3 57 and mt4 68. Seeing them side by side to compare size and hear your thoughts on the differences in weight, features, power, durability, lifting ability would be really helpful. I use mine mostly for plowing businesses with an angle blade and 3pt blower, as well as for building construction/material handling. The size of the Mt4 in tight spaces is a concern, but I'm sure the weight and hp is nice. Also concerned about the lack of hydro option in the mt4 for loader and forklift work.
Thanks for the comment. Right now the Boomer is put away for the winter in the back of a shipping container so I can’t do a video but I did want to respond to you with some thoughts on the 2 tractors that I have. I totally understand your back and forth. Regarding the cab: I am an advocate. I love the cab. I thought it would be more difficult to get in and out when working on projects or hooking up attachments front and back. It has not been bad at all. The benefits of the cab are so nice especially if you are pushing snow or brush hogging. I definitely like the weight of the MT4. I find I have much better traction when pushing snow. This is a big help with the 10’ snow box. I really like the power shuttle transmission for everything except dirt work. Brush hogging, snow, rock raking are great with the power shuttle drivetrain. Loader work, scooping dirt seems easier with the hydrostatic. The MT4 does lift more front and back than the Boomer. I love the hydro remotes on the MT4. Also the ability to adjust height of the 3 point while outside the cab on the MT4 is very handy. The Boomer has a much much much tighter turning radius. Your concern about the size is valid. There appears to be a some adjustment on the bolt stops on the front wheels but the owners manual says not to adjust them so I have not. But the Boomer is pretty darn nimble for being a 50…well a 47 HP tractor. I was neither for or against the self leveling loader when I got the MT4 but if you are going to do much forklift work where you are picking up pallets, it is very convenient to not have to try to run 2 loader functions at the same time. With the RPMs up it does 2 functions but it is nice to have the self level feature when I am loading a transfer tank into the back of the truck. Well, I hope this helps you out in your decision making process. Thanks again for the comment.
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 Thanks for the help! Yeah, I hear you on the cab. I really regret not getting one. I've had some miserable nights plowing in the cold and wind without one. Bucket and forklift work I imagine is significantly slower and less delicate than with a hydro. Pretty sure I'll get good at it though; just more stopping and shifting before getting into piles. For plowing though, I bet the geared tractor is nice. I get tired of hearing the hydro trans whine while plowing, and am pretty sure I'm putting it through more than it's designed for. The weight of the mt4 is a big upside. I finally found one to test drive, and it's definitely a heavier tractor. On heavier snowfalls I just have to start pushing small bites of snow instead of windrowing because he tractor's weight isn't enough to push snow to the side. Windrowing is significantly faster, so the weight would speed me up a lot. I also really would like a heavier tractor with a bigger loader for setting smaller trusses. It would open up a lot more work for it in the summer. The mt3 is def not capable of that. The turning radius on the mt4 is something that will be a pain for sure. I was surprised how wide it turns when I test drove it. It's actually probably going to be my main decision making factor vs an mt3, which turns on a dime in comparison. It's going to make some plow sites feel pretty small. I thought the same thing about the adjustment on the steering, but I assume that's probably a bad idea. The self level is a cool feature and would be very nice. I've become proficient at getting the ls hydraulics to smoothly tilt down while lifting the loader boom, but that took a LOT of practice. There's a sweet spot to get it to do it, and a lot of people probably will never be able to find it. The transfer tank scenario makes me think I would not consider a geared tractor without self leveling. I'm thinking it would allow you to run at a lower rpm when you need to without making your loader worthless. Thanks again.
Best start ever .the cheering😂😂😂😮
Nice tractor until you got to take the battery out. A phrase no one has ever muttered: "You know who has good engineers? ... the Dutch." I've pushed snow in -20 degrees with mine, it's only got about 300 hours and have had tons of problems. Get a Kubota.
Sorry to hear you have had issues. What trouble did you have with the battery removal?
now THATS some innovation
I guess he's industrious ❤
I’m looking at buying the LS Utility 458 1:23 how do you like yours?
I have really liked it. I was in it for 3 hours last night mowing down a failed crop of Barley with a 6’ brush hog. As you can see in the videos I push a lot of snow. I really like it.
Love my LS XR4150 got about 455 hrs on it been a great food plot tractor, enjoyed your video gonna subscribe
What is the part number for JUST the led bulbs that you tried at first?
ua-cam.com/video/6251Gm2sStg/v-deo.html. Here is a videos of the bulb replacement and there is a link in the description for the bulbs I ordered from Amazon. I hope this helps
Just think you have three tractors. If one has a problem you can keep working.
count your lucky stars there is no DPF on it.
4 months in, has this set given you any trouble, like camming out heads or the tips themselves camming while pulling screws?
I haven’t had any issues with it. My usage has been fairly light. I have used it to tear apart laptops and it has worked great
I bet you love that cab. Is this ever going to end? I have plowed and snow blowed more snow this year than the last 5 years i have had my LS combined.
Yes the cab has been great. I love it. I feel the same. I have logged over 70 hours pushing snow this winter. It was nice to do it in a t-shirt! 😂
I have to admit, at least one of the rocks that fell was from me in the dodge 😂
It's got plenty of pushing power the LS 👍
Yeah, it handles that 8’ snow box really well!
I am here for this!
Hey thanks man, it is good to hear from you. I am glad you still get to catch some UA-cam vids even during your harvest.
Nice video. Your fan is definitely defective though.
Thanks, I will reach out to BioLite about it.
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 did they replace the fan? saw other videos and I don't hear the same thing from their units.
@@renk5000 I actually just took it apart and found that the fan needed to be adjusted and now it works great without the noise.
awesome! glad to hear it worked out. @@hiddenspringshappenings3945
Great video. I too have the Mt458. What is that switch at 9:11 in the video?
That is a switch that I added to control the led lights I added to the grab bars on both sides. You can see them at 5:56. They are awesome to illuminate the area next to the tractor.
I did the exact same thing! My front wiper started to die, so I rummaged around the garage and found a spare. It was longer but that wasnt a bad thing. So I decided to take a measurement of the rear wiper and bought a larger replacement for that one too!
That is awesome. Great minds think alike. Thanks for watching!
I like tricks like this.
Thanks!
When can I come get that boomer? Message me
Thanks for reaching out. If we do decide to sell it I will message you. Thanks for watching!
Just now located your channel. Looking in the LS Tractors. Especially interested in the exact model you have. Sure would like to know your thoughts so far. Thanks.
I have loved this tractor. I have done a review video of the LS tractor as well as the Boomer 50 that I have that is made by LS. You can check those out and see if that answers your questions. If you have any other questions I would love to chat back-and-forth to see if I can help with any of those questions you may have
Thanks for the prompt reply, I would like to chat sometime. Will contact you when I can pull the trigger on purchasing one of these tractors. Be safe!
I just wanted to say thank you again, got the rear lights done on my XU 6168 and I can’t wait for the rest of the new plugs to come in. I’m loving it so far
Thanks for reaching back out. I am excited that you are making progress on the lights. You will love them (probably already do).
which is manufactured?
The smaller New Holland tractors are manufactured by LS Mtron. The same as the LS tractors.
So this model(boomer 25-55) is Korean correctly?
@@kyriakostheocharous7903 that is correct
Thank you very much!
Is that my tool set or yours? 😂
This would be mine.
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 😂
nice boomer if your old ford is a 1949 its not a 2n
You are correct. I misspoke. It is a 2N. I believe it is a 1942
My fil has a 33 horse new Holland. If/when I am able to get my own, he makes a really compelling argument to get a similar one, as do you!
I have my fingers crossed that you will be able to get your own soon. They are so much fun. Check out my review video of the LS Tractor. I don’t regret buying either one.
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 for sure! I've got a run it a bit, but the wife and I bought a house with 25 acres a few years ago and it would be so handy to have one for clearing snow/land management.
brilliant!
Thanks so much!
haha. I still got the plastic on my Boomer 40 seat. except I need to do the 400 hr service. lol
I know, I went back-and-forth on taking it off, or leave it on.
Ripped mine off and my son took a couple of my old camouflage hunting shirts and covered both cushions looks awesome
That is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Should have readjusted the toplink back two turns for a fair comparison. Also, that is an awesome blade! You'd greatly benefit from a "top 'n tilt" kit.
Thanks for your thoughts. It would have been more apples to apples if I put it back. It would have shortened the top link and would have increased the height of the blade in the up position. I left it thinking that the adjusted 2 turn would maintain the levelness of the beam in the down position. I will definitely look into the top n tilt kit. Thanks again! Happy New Year.
It's a nice little tractor mate I like your bobcat as well 👍
Thanks, I will do a vid on that this summer
Happy New Year! I use q-tips to clean up around the zerk fittings on my New Holland Tractor.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing!
You got one of them fancy grease guns hey
Yeah this is the Lock N Lube gun. It has been awesome. Really handy when I was servicing the track on my mini excavator and it took 2 tubes of grease. Sometimes I wish I had a battery powered one but with this one working so good I can not justify getting a different one.
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 I'm still pumping by hand 😂
Lol, one of these days you will get one. We all have different time lines and priorities. And that is okay! I sure appreciate your comments!
Selam arkadaşım kolay gelsin ellerine sağlık 👍✋🔔👋
Thank you. I had to google this to translate. You are so kind. I hope you have a great day
Increase.... I think.
You got it
How big is your pusher
It is 8’ wide
I think the height will decrease.
I thought that the top link was going to be moved up one hole, instead of down. That was the error in my thought.
Thanks for the comment. Your thought process is correct. If the top link was changed to the higher position the height of the raised blade would decrease.
I know it's going to increase the height 🤫
You got it!
Now with your new RB, you won’t have to make a 2nd pass to pickup the crumbs. Just have the rb offset behind you. That’s exactly the setup I want too.
You hit it spot on. I have been working through that. Using the offset and the correct angle to push the crumbs back toward the unplowed snow so I can pick it up on the next push. The other method I have been trying is to use the RB to push the crumbs over toward the unplowed snow as I back up. Trying to accomplish the same thing. Eliminate the extra pass without decreasing each swath to a half swath to prevent spillage as that doesn’t really save time either. We have more snow in the forecast so I should get more practice and more footage.
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 Ahh yes that’s a good idea. I would do that too, but also have manual angle so it never seems to be in the right position to do that.
Perfect timing. Looking to replace my manual land pride with a larger hydraulic model. This is the only blade that I could find that has hydraulic offset. I like my RB for snow removal with an Arctic pusher out front. Only wish is for hydraulic end plates/wings for these and then I am set lol.
Yes, hydraulic wings would be great. I have loved this blade. If you have questions or anything specific that you want me to video let me know. I would be happy to do it. This is a super heavy and robust blade. I don’t use the hydraulic tilt when pushing snow but I do plan to use it when blading dirt. My challenge there is that my 3rd hyd remote is a detent valve instead of a standard valve so it not the best valve for a cylinder. I purchased rhe 7’ blade as I didn’t want it to stick out too far and knew that the offset would reach where I needed to. They do offer an 8’ model. I also purchased the rock rake that I can install in place of the blade and have a hydraulic rock rake using all the same cylinders and main frame.
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 I have a similar sized tractor as you and no doubt a 8’ would be fine but a 7’ is good enough especially with offset. 8’ may get tricky with vehicles around, etc. I also have a farm so all of those features will get used at home when it’s not snowing 👌
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 Actually I would love to know how far it offsets. Can I clear a sidewalk while driving on the road beside the curb? I can’t find the specs on their website that list it.
@@paybax I will get some measurements and let you know
Why you pushing and not pulling? I thought it was because of gravel at first. Just don’t want to drive on the snow first? And did you get hydraulic offset too? Edit - Never mind found your other video.
Thanks for the comment. Just for the benefit of others that see the comments I will respond. Yes I did get the hydraulic offset. It has been support helpful. I do a lot of pushing with the rear blade as it is much less aggressive. It pushes the snow but does not cut too deep. In some places I pus because of space constraints. I still do pull with the rear blade especially out on the road and cleaning the gutters after the plows pass. Seasons greetings!
I like this attachment. We just bought a new tractor. Super excited to push snow! Now that I'm prepared for snow.... we won't get any snow.....
I know it sure feels like that sometimes. I hope you will still have an opportunity to get out and push some snow. Last week I was in the tractor every day except Friday . We have 3” forecast for Wednesday so I will need to prep the tractor…clean the windows and top off the fuel. Thanks for your comments
Rear remote Powered rear blade?
You got it!
What gear do you push in?
This tractor has 4 ranges and 4 gear. I push in Range 3 and Gear 4
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 got it, so 12th out of 16 gears?
Correct!
@@hiddenspringshappenings3945 equivalent to 15 out of 20 gears in the MT573, I'm guessing 🤔
Yes I would think so. I am excited to see some videos of you pushing snow

It is great. I love it. This is my first shuttle shift tractor and was wondering if I would like it and I love that too. Been super happy with it. How about you and the Kioti?
