Adding Lawn Aeration To My Business
Random question… why’d you go all the way around to go back to the front yard?
@@artymunoz5060 Good question. The property line on that side of the house was so close I’d have to drive half way on the neighbors property to get back. Unfortunately the neighbors weren’t about to allow it. Long story short
You need narration and guidance, not just stupid speeded up video.
Wonderful work!!! Also keep God first. You confirmed how me and my brother been doing our leaf clean up. Thanks brother!!!!
@@danyabunsie9596 thanks! It seems to be a pretty good way to get it done!
how much did you charge for this?
@@james25980 it was apart of a bigger project. If I did it by it self maybe $200-$300 including hauling away all the debris
Was that it? Not very impressed if that was end result
45
@@NicholasKiesewetter good guess that’s what we charged at the time of this video. 👍🏼👍🏼
I say $200 for the first fee , wasn’t too tall and i have a good riding mower , and for Once a month cut i would charge $120
That lawn takes MINIMUM 30 minutes , the most one hour , come on now
Not even 30 minutes tbh
I have a fairly big property in rural Australia (for residential), I owned both gas (Stihl) and electric (Dewalt). We went with electric. Gas is way more powerful, but it's unnecessary if you are just a home owner, take the extra few seconds a season to cut but save big on maintenance and gas. If it was our day to day business, in most areas 100% would go gas but if I was had regular clients in managed areas of Sydney where the growth is not crazy I would probably have an electric system. Our next big electric investment is a ride-on mower (we want to wait for someone other than Ryobi to make one).
@@jzea5605 very cool! Good points. Thanks for watching! 😎
I've got the Stihl Combi system with the KM94 2-Mix stratified combustion engine, blower, line trimmer, pole saw, adjustable angle hedge trimmer, edger, and carbon extension. Had it for around 12 years to look after around five residential properties and replaced the whole suite a couple of years ago. I went for the KM94 again because it is a simple 2 stroke without the complication of valve train like the 4-Mixes, is reliable, economical, adequately powerful, and importantly 0.4kg lighter than the 4-Mixes. The blower is fantastic and all the other tools do the job well. The new hedge trimmer attachment has the same number of teeth as the old one but is shorter with a smaller bite which annoyed me. I've read that the gearboxes can fail in them so I'm assuming that instead of beefing up the gearbox they lazily just de-loaded them. The Husqi trimmer is longer and looks more commercial. The other weak point is the plastic insert and key which fit into the end of the attachments. The connection relies on the clamp to prevent the attachment rotating. Other systems have a pawl which mechanically locks them in place. The plastic key eventually gets damaged and you have to replace the insert. Not a big deal or expense but a design flaw imo. That being said, overall the Combi is a very good system which provides very good leverage to my time.
My eletric harbor freight pole saw cuts like butter compared to that Dewalt
I will concur. I've had mine for about six years and the motor brushes just recently went kaput. I got this Dewalt and I also immediately noticed the hesitation to start if the chain is resting on the branch. The Harborfreight which runs on 120 volt 6.5 amps had plenty of torque and didn't have this problem. I think the Harborfreight also spins faster so when I do undercuts it doesn't push me or start bucking the way this Dewalt does. It could also be the chain is more aggressive as the video said. Harborfreight is half a pound lighter, a foot shorter, corded, more powerful, leaks a lot of oil, only $65. If you don't need to go cordless then the Harborfreight is the way to go if you can manage the oil leak during storage.
I would’ve went over it a few times not bagging it, then bagged the clumps. Better than it was for sure.
Terrible, we meant it literally... put the grass in a plastic trash bag. lol
Idk but I know how much I’d pay…..0$. That’s a crappy mow. Wouldn’t even let that dude look at my lawn.
Probably too much
The only problem is they let the grass get that tall. So do what you gotta do, that's what I say
Psalm 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Awesome passage of scripture! 🙏🏼
$30
The music? 😮😅😂
How did that lawnmower not bog down. Mind will give me trouble every 4-5 feet if my lawn goes more then two weeks. And that’s all the way high too.
Not sure man. If it’s dry out it seems to do good. I think it depends how much moisture is in the grass. But you can also adjust the throttle to run at a higher rpm I have mine turned up a bit more than factory
@@Sargeantyardpros thank I didn’t even know that was an option. I just looked at a video on how to do that for my mower. Will be adjusting before next cut
@@Marine_That_Loves_Jesus for sure. hope it done the job!
@@Sargeantyardpros Helps when the blades are sharp, fresh oil and gasoline, and the engine is running well.
Depends if I could leave the compost bags there or not. And also what's the backyard look like
$50 brother all day
£25
Go a different way cutting it
Not no 160.00$
After that first pass he didn't counter mowed the lines, instead he's all over the place.🏡
FREE!
$100 sounds good ! But you said we so $150
shut up!
1200
$75 max. Where I live you could have mowed it a couple of times. Did you edge, weedeat, or trim any bushes. Rip off.
I would've done it myself because I'm not paying more than 60.00.😂😂
Not an expert, but it looks like that grass is going to brown and die in a few days from a cut that drastic. I know cuz i do it to my grass all the time lol
$40 if contracted seasonally.
$50 to mow. $150 to film it.
Вот так живет америка брошенные дома которые обрастают сорной травой и которую надо косить и приводить в порядок прилегающию территорию.за все должен платить налогоплательщик из своего кармана за это.
like $80 that yard is tiny af
What happened to the grass right next to the house going into the backyard?
Great vocals
They cut it instead of pulling it out and planting oregano, mints and other herbs or leafy greens edible ground cover and bushes like rosemary and sage, lavender etc to replace a problem to a harvest when it grows long.
I ALWAYS bag every job.
Yea you bought a walk behind instead of a ride behind
When I mow I don’t bag my grass I let the clippings stay on my lawn idk if it does anything but it’s convinient
Nope 😂
Should have took smaller strips of grass instead of wide ones. Would of been easier. The extra grass can stay it will fertilize the rest when it rains. I would have also went up one way turned around and came back down. Clippings would have been less bulky
$45
Yes
No mistakes with a jungle like that it's any means necessary to crop that bs down for the customer😅
Should have bagged it
$40
Raking a few buckets of grass out of that before remowing. And buying an extra belt or 2, because i know for fact a few yards like that and them guys are gonna be squealin like a hog 😅 get er done man!👏👏👏🍻
Why you back words. Lol
