Autonomous Mobile Robots - Warehouse Automation with the MiR 100
Omni Automation is a leader in autonomous mobile robot (AMR) integration. This project required custom sensors to detect low objects such as fork lift forks. These sensors work seamlessly with the MiR interface allowing the robot to safely stop and continue once the low object has been removed.

l have the same concern regarding the "pallet dispenser", where is it? how does it to dispense 4 empty pallets to each lane?
The pallet dispenser is off the screen to the right. It is attached to the main line. The dispenser releases a pallet one at a time to whichever lane is empty.

For the vacuum hose routed through the base of the robot - is there a swivel fitting or rotary union at the J1 rotation point, or are you relying on the hose stiffness to accommodate some twisting without pinching/kinking?
Yes, there is a swivel fitting mounted at the base of the robot at the J1 to help prevent pinching/kinking.

How are new pallets added
Hi Chris, just off screen is a pallet dispenser. When a lane is empty, the pallet dispenser automatically dispenses a pallet to the right lane.

How does the Roller know the MiR is there?
We have our ORP box mounted on the conveyor which allows the MiR and the Conveyor to communicate. Inside our MiR top module we have another ORP box mounted.

@@ACundG Our ORP box is something we have designed and engineered in house. It allows the MiR robot to communicate via Bluetooth to various things like conveyors, doors, other MiRs, etc.

The robot was running at 80% speed here. We had it slowed down just for demonstration purposes!
