If only the Figure could be freeed and you have a whole figure. not just lump of plastic. more could have been done .

I made a few Highlander themed katana with Hanwei and L-6 blades and Im going to resin cast a H-1 tsuka and have not decided how to make the slot for the tang. I was going to roto cast the hilt then insert a long vinyl pressure sleeve and add more resin so when its done its strong enough and the blade can be removed. Let me know if you have a better method.

Not just the Handle the blade needs to be short and straight

No way this was a mold of their big chap because that one is way off from the original Design. I got it this cuz I could immediately tell it was a new sculpt and way close to hr gigers work. It would be amazing if they came out with this version as a posable figure .

Great stuff. I just ordered an airbrush, and can't wait to use it on my sculptures that I create from apoxie clay. I think the airbrush would do a better job than me using brushes, especially for skin tones. But I know it's important to use all the tools possible for a great paint job.

Had been trying to see if anybody has done this, looks great! Feels like a way more authentic way to get the kind of colors the suit had instead of dry brushing the lighter colors over the black like a lot of people do.

Can you share exactly what brand and color greens you used for your initial base coat, marbling effect?

Just an FYI, the Highlander 3 sword you talk about is not THE highlander 3 sword. It was a sculpt Jose de Braga did for Albion and has been marketed as such ever since. The real one was based more on the H2 as that’s what was sent to Jose as inspiration for him to do one for the movie. He has never released that actual sculpt. Closet available is one done by Point Gallery and he can only make 20, and it’s not taken directly from the mold of screen used but he carved it to be screen accurate based on pics and design measurements sent from Jose.

Nobody, from what I have seen, realised it was the dome that made the black series look bad. Put a rubies dome o a black series and it changes the piece completely. For me, I am old so have older but more expensive lids!

How did you get the abs on there? I have the same costume and also want to make some mods.

My favorite katana, my favorite sword, is an onikiri 1045 high carbon steel shirasaya crimson colored katana that has a ring at the front of the handle so that the handle won't crack. It's a completely functional to use shirasaya. If is beautifully simplistic and I carry it around my townhouse often. It is such a solid piece that you litarilly would have to saw through the handle to remove the blade. So I know the feeling of possessing a katana that you really love.

What bothers me most about Super7 is that they are supposed to be Collector Items, while Masterverse are toys for the mass market, and yet Super7 lacks in plastic quality and poseability. In my opinion, Super7 figures are not worth their price.
