For those that are curious, this is a tool that my father and I invented and patented a few years back. Recently it was picked up by a larger company and revamped to make it virtually indestructible. Below is a link to their website and newly filmed video showcasing the new adapter plate. If you run from the downstream side, the stuff won't keep washing back into the culvert.
This is absolutely pointless unless you are going to remove the garbage material
Where can I rent one
I just don't see where that tool does much good. It leaves a lot of mud and debris behind.
Do you have units for sale?
Is this a homemade attachment??
What’s the name of the company haha
Is this the ominous „idiot with an excavator“ post10 is often talking about?
Cool video
Kinda works, but I'll note that he also smashed the buggery out of the culvert in the process. Not something you'd be able to do very many times before you'd have to replace the tube anyway. Too bad those leaves didn't deploy as hoped for in that thick clay.
It'll be blocked again in no time😂
Really cool piece of equipment!!
I remember cleaning a culvert years ago and all I had was my master diver cert, a rebreather and a heavy 6foot pinch bar. It took 4 trips to clear the partial collapse and resulting blockage and the thing was that after all my hard graft the local council decided to dig it up and put a new one in
Do you guys ever attach your Culvert cleaner using a Hydraulic thumb that are on some exculators that ,along with the bucket can be used to attach logs etc would work quickly using a Hydraulic powered thumb and the bucket to hold your cleaver "CULVERT CLEANER,,-RAILWAY UNDER TRACK CLEANER
Wow you GUYS AND GIRLS ARE CLEAVER.........YOUR COMPANIES SHOULD APPROCH MARYLAND SCENIC RAILWAY., BNSF ,AND CSX,, ALSO NORTH FORK SOUTHERN CLASS ONE RAILWAYS AND OFFER YOUR CULVERT CLEANER (1) TO CLEAN OUT THEIR RAILWAY TRACK CULVERTS...AND UNDER MINE RAILWAY TRACK ROAD BEDS PRIOR TO ADDING RAILWAY TRACK BALLAST
I think 6 four foot pine trees tied together at the base and pulled through like a shotgun swab, thats how I do my sluce pipe one tree
How do you get the chain through to pull it?
@@kyleharrison4878 I send a string through a PVC pipe with air pressure, then tie it to a rope, then the tree,
Are you digging a trench or playing patty cake with the dirt? Cleaning the mud off with a stick? "Come on guys"!!
Don’t show that tool to #Post10 he would have a field day with that tool
Damn that was hard to watch this operator has no idea what he’s doing
Post10 would do this by hand
My guy post 10 would cleared it all with a rake
Those ding dang beavers man. They dang old unstoppable man. Nice Kubota.
something about this seems very familiar
This dude is gonna get more dislikes than my channel... Title should be " Culvert Cleaning by Bad Operator Pt 2" that dude was ripping off the culvert. Post 10 would've cleaned that faster just with the shovel and the stick. Tha machine operator is just bad.
LAY A MASSONARY CAP STONE, OR TWO ON ITS UPSIDE ENTRANCE STOPPING ANY DEBRE FROM COMING IN. THEN KEEP IT CLEAN ON THE UPSIDE. SIMPLE FORE THOUGHT.
First thing bad operators do is scratch with the teeth all day and think they are doing something. Video should be titled how to till ditch.
Have seen similar cleaning using high pressure water to clear blockage..But as noted if nothing else is done it will clog again...
No locates??
Post10 has over 60k sbs and he uses a rake..you guys bust your ass, use your brains and suffer along with 1.3k..either way..it is doing a great job..but YT is strange as the viewers who tune in..
Idioter
Only a moron would allow. This. Bridge to be buil5 so low,,,
Painful watching the operator do this 😔
decent tool i think you need to ultilize some springs to help open up them spoons back out when pulling it out of the drain pipe not to heavy though you want them to compress as your pushing it in ...just a thought
invest in a long handled American spade.
Good job
I bet post 10 would love one of these.
I am not impressed, job was not completed and who is hell uses plastic culverts.
get andrew camarata here ... he will change that culvert pipe and widened canal faster than cleaning culvert
YOUNG MAN U ARE DOING THIS JOB ASS BACKWARD TO TRY FIND IN OF PIPE
What a waste of time. It will clog back up again.
Rough
well that should fill back up after one hard rain
Tough room! lol
The camera man does not want to be there. Kept looking at his watch like every five minutes 😂😂
Maybe showing how quick the job was going? or slow? Maybe he is not lazy like you hint.
@@g.r.4853 Lazy like me?? LOL that's funny.... I'm reading your comment after a 12 hr day. When I'm working, hours go by without me looking at my watch. But what do I know I just own 3 businesses.... I'm not an expert at being lazy like you.
Now there is a perfect video for "It's not my job mate!" Their only interest was to clear out the pipe, the fact that the ditch needs clearing out to make the water flow isn't their job, as long as that pipe is clear, then they've done their job.
you can tell he ain't that great on the excavator all that mud should have bin cleared away first
Very innovative way to clean culverts, BUT would it not have been better to clear the path for the water to flow and THEN clear the culvert. At 2.17 there is no place for the water to run.
Yes, needed to cut a flow line on each side 20 or 30 feet. Would've made clean out easier too.
Oversize Tonka Toy.....Looks like fun!
well that works good and saves a lot of time replacing a blocked culvert, Good stuff
