Question: Since the pH of HEC needs to be around 9, then what product is this good for, b/c hair and skin products should have a pH between 4 and 6?

Thanks for good information. But how to use in product which ph is 6 to 7
U can use HEC but u need more time thicken your solution. In pH 6 - 7 u need maybe 50 mjnutes until 90 minutes to make HEC hydrate and thicken your solution
But u can use another alternative thickener agent like polyurethane usually called as Rheoclean 735. Now i use this thickener agent to thicken my product like detergent, floor cleaner

Adjust PH in your final product. If you need to LOWER PH, use Citric Acid solution.
