I'll never be able to afford to stay here but my son, as a 16yr old apprentice Glazier, worked on the original lodge, installing the glasswork. He travelled from Adelaide to K.I many times to work on it, and we were shocked and sad when the fires went through in 2020. This is so great for South Australia, and K.I to have this rebuilt. A credit to everyone involved 👏👏👏

Truly incredible! I have the fondest of memories from the original SOL. In awe of version 2.0.

I think this is the most beautiful marketing video I have ever seen. The music is on my Spotify, the hotel is on my bucket list. Fortunate enough to see this beautiful area in April 2017. Would love to come back, and stay here. Unfortunately out of price range, but you can see why it would be!

We had the most amazing 6 night stay at Southern Ocean Lodge for a special birthday in 2013 and I can truly say that this place is special. Kangaroo Island itself is amazingly beautiful and peaceful with wonderful scenery and wildlife and Southern Ocean Lodge has captured all of this at the Lodge. Wonderful but discrete service, amazing food and wine and lots of activities to explore the island were included in the stay. While our own lodge is not in the same price bracket as SOL they have inspired many of the small things that we do at Mulberry Lodge to make people feel special and have a wonderful and memorable stay We visited in Spring but have vowed to go back and experience each season. Don't forget that McLaren Vale Wine Region is the perfect spot for a 2 centre break in South Australia. It's a 30 minute drive to Cape Jervis to get the ferry to KI from Mulberry Lodge and you also have the option to charter your own private jet from our local aerodrome or charter a private helicopter that will pick you up from our paddock..

Wow. Awesome cinematography. This is probably the healthiest dish I have seen so far. I love the scenery and the dynamics that he has with his daughter on their cooking videos. I wonder who shoots the scenery you really feel like you are there!
