Beauuuuuuuyytiful Jay .. Maximum R&b .. Insightful to be able to differentiate the accompanyin beats from the bass- line an rhythm sections .. there's a percussionist in there wit bass an a nice melody it produces .. Simple chords.

Thanks for the video. FYI - St. Louis Blues is a great song for putting these ideas into practice with lots of half & whole step bends on 2 & 3 draw. It's more obvious when my bends aren't accurate playing a song like this. David Hebert has posted a nice version of the melody with tab.

I like the cupped sound. My favorites are the Hohner Chrometta 8, and Golden Melody. The plastic comb feels good to me. The Marine Band wood comb would swell and tear the skin off of my lips. The F and F# are the highest pitched harps and difficult for me to play. I might try a Low F.

This looks like bad reed profiling since it's very airy if the gapping is done correct; if you press the draw reed down to the plate, I can bet that there's a gap from the base of the reed to the middle which may be causing the airy leak

Greetings from Brazil! These harmonicas are Brazilian, the factory was recently sold to a former employee and is now called Hering Shg. They invested in new machinery and processes and greatly improved quality. They also closed more to serve the Brazilian market, so it must be difficult to find abroad. If you can, try the hering shg with wooden comb, they are very good, the sound and quality of Brazilian wood are incredible

I bought one like the model that you are showing and it does not work properly. The spring mechanism is sluggish. Have you taken it apart?

I put my old plates into a mixture of 2 cups warm water with ONE denture cleaning tablet for 5 minutes ONLY. Remove and rinse thoroughly in warm running water. Dry with a soft cloth. Denture cleaner can damage the reeds, so be quick and gentle. The brass plates will remain discolored.
