My name is Ronan Ellis and I'm a visual effects artist with a passion for film making and generally speaking anything techie. Software skills include (but not limited to) Cinema 4D, Nuke and Davinci Resolve.
As much as I like being behind a screen, I also enjoy going out with a camera and filming, setting up the lights and the audio. Really trying to get those cinematic shots to really bring a project together. Explore my Projects page where you can find examples of my work.

Doctor Who fan-made title sequence
I decided to create my own title sequence, utilizing some old assets from a previous project (the 50th Anniversary title sequence). My goal was to experiment and put my own spin. I focused on creating a liquid-style vortex effect, capturing a "warped space" look. Software used was C4D, Octane, NukeX.

We are a mosaic of memories, both good and bad. They are the building blocks of our personalities, values and perspective of the world. But our memories change, warp, morph and fade; in big ways and small. Perhaps you are not who you think you are, perhaps your past has unknowingly become fiction? Which memories that shape your identity, cherished or resented, might not be real? If your memorie...

This is literally the best I've seen ever
Giving 8th Doctor vibes
Nope it's 11
Oh wow, fucking incredible
Can you make a doctor who title sequence?
Pity the Jon Pertwee howlround was missing 😢
you a lil late for the 50th
Amazing, why this video isn't with a million views?
i would love a full-length episode/movie like this
Glorious. This really captures the motivation of those who work in science fields, those who reach beyond.
You deserved more views and subscribers!!!❤😊
When the asteroids hit and the cracks glowed hot for a moment upon fracturing...yup. Master class visuals there...damn good job.
Triboluminescence. Life Savers breath mints...go into the closet, no lights AT ALL. Ask a friend to bite into one of the mints...you'll see a blue snap glow of light.
Love the use of the for all mankind moon landing theme
huh
I never saw a space animation this detailed, awesome work❤!!
You should look up MelodySheep, if you liked this you will adore his work
epic!
Very cool!
Looking really good!
Awesome!
Absolutely amazing
Thanks :)
that drop at 0:14 was... it uhh... it felt wrong..
Not really. In fact, it's perfect
is that shah rukh khan?
Excelente !!! 100/100
I'm a bit late to the party with this one, but I felt that it was still worth leaving a message to say how impressed I am with your work. About the only thing I would mention is that the letters for "Doctor Who" didn't stand out enough from the background but otherwise I really liked this blending of the decades. It was probably more difficult to decide which elements to leave out, but if the BBC had the sense to hire fans such as you, or at least give you use of their production equipment and do any fine tuning that you had in mind, I could easily see your titles getting used. Unfortunately the BBC is something of a closed shop, and Big Finish Productions (who are more creative) wouldn't need visuals, but I hope that you don't get discouraged from continuing with your work. Either someone will eventually recognise your talent, or you will be great at your hobby.
Pretty nice ! Although, it's a pity the music isn't consistent from beginning to end (cuts connexions), a unique track would have been better. The TARDIS could also have been moving and spinning more since the credits appear, it's a bit to slow. But nice work overall ! 😉
Very nice. TARDIS windows being transparent is an interesting take.
Wow! Amazing work. What softwares you used on this? It’s incredible. Cheers
Thanks! I used C4D, NukeX and davinci resolve.
@@Ronan_Ellis_VFX tremendous work Ronan. I wanted to create a short movie that needed similar VFX stuff, and how i can blend environments together. Nuke is one i use and love. Maybe we can collaborate together on a project when we get the chance Peace Peace
Amazing. +1 sub!
Oh my god I love it soo much wish this was in the 50th itd of been soooo cool
I would’ve liked every theme to be in the same key. Made transitions a little jarring.
I think Masie Smith would be perfect as a Doctor Who Companion.
I was wondering when you'd upload again! This is absolutely fantastic!!
Thanks bud :)
Awesome work man. Real talent <3
😧
While it is out of order it's really good.
That has to be the best vortex i have ever seen!
That drop at 0:45 was incredible
Thats................FANTASTIC !!
Allon-Z!!! Amo essa serie kkkkko
One of my favourite fan made intros
I adore it when these fan-made intros do the thing where the camera zooms into the light on top of the TARDIS, it's such a handy transition technique that still looks soooo nice, honestly they should've used that technique for series 7b's intro sequence rather than the whole doors opening thing. Great job dude, keep it up
I prefer the opening doors. To each their own.
I would 100% watch this
TARDIS 😍
THIS IS SO UNDERRATED!!!
Oh this is gorgeous! A guided visit to Doctor Who throughout the years :) Btw, I like how this was already a cool assignment but you decided to take it to the next level and include everything you could. That alone deserves merit.
Love it
I loved the liquid look of the title sequence
I didn't think it would quite fit altogether, but a good attempt.
The concept is good, but does not quite work...
Hell yeah
What's the music for this?
Should have been used for day of the doctor
