Olympus EM1 mkii
I am thinking of changing my photography setup after 7yrs so i've gone to the Olympus EM1-mkii micro four thirds (with it been lighter than my Nikon setup) and this is the first time out with it and up to now pleased with the results.

What bout the house?
What cool spot to fly! And and cool scenes ^^! Like from another mini user!
Just a quick flight before it started to rain.
Another great video Shaun, i see you've got the hang of flying your new drone. Great picture quality too.
Just to point out the 2 lighthouses metioned were actually built in 1870 and not 1837 as i said.
Shaun- so outstanding -
Thank you for watching & your comment
Nice video this. Thanks for making it
you got it backwards about the id
Yes i have Claude thank you for pointing that out.
may not be the best idear to show your operator id in the video as someone could use it
Hi Shaun, I stumbled across your channel. I've only recently become interested in this hobby and still figuring out the rules & regulations before jumping in. As I understand it the DJI mini 3 pro is the now the upper end of the sub 250g drone options after the mini 2, mini 2 Se and mini 3. Is this your 1st drone or have you upgraded? You mentioned that you'd used 3 batteries so did you purchase the upgrade pack? You also mentioned the flyer ID and registration which suggests that you've done your homework before buying a drone. Any tips to someone who hasn't yet jumped onboard, primarily because I've heard that the CAA are reviewing the legislation. Sorry for so many Qs. Happy flying. Allan
This is my first real drone the other wasn't as good so yes you could call it an upgrade. I purchased the fly more kit with extra batteries. As for the ID part of it it was easy one is free & one you pay for, and as for tips all i did was watch youtube video's and ask questions just like your doing (you don't ask you don't find out). As for the CAA all you can do is kept checking there site in less other people know. I found this drone easy to fly and i look forward to going out with it again. Hope this helps.
Very interesting, nice area 👍🖖
Thank you for watching.
Thank you for sharing that piece of information Dave & thanks for watching. Cheers
The tidal surge barrier has done a lot to reduce the flooding of the River Hull in riverside areas of the city. I wonder who remembers the '60s when Rediffusion (Yes, Hull had 'cable TV' in the 1960s!) would put out announcements warning the population of flooding in "Low-lying areas". In the late 1970s, I worked at Croda on Ann Watson Street (between Stoneferry and the River Hull,) and I remember a number of times when getting into work was a problem, in the days after such flood warnings: The west side of Stoneferry would often be covered with a couple of inches of mud, and at the opposite end (the river end,) of Ann Watson Street, you'd be wading through about 6 to 8 inches of water until the flood levels receded. The lowering of the tidal surge barrier is a sight to see, as it rotates and then slowly drops to form a wall across the River Hull. I wouldn't recommend standing too close when watching it however: For one thing, you'll get a better view from a good distance away, (The south pedestrian path of Myton swing bridge is ideal,) and for another, considering the number of bats that nest up there when the barrier is raised up, you're likely to get showered by bat crap if you're standing anywhere close to directly underneath.
It was good to finally meet up and have a chat. It was a shame about the high dead grass and weeds along the fence line. The only trouble where I was standing was missing them actually turn into the bend. The other stage I managed to visit for a while was stage 3 or 4 Coom Hill. Managed to get some photos, but my telephoto lens started to pack up so ended up calling it a day. Good to see you managed to get some photos :). Hope all is well after your trip, as a few other kept tripping on that spot.
Yes Martin it was good to put a face to the name, the grass and briers were a pain but i managed to get some on the corners then after our chat i went further along that stage to the farm where i was out in the open and never went out in the afternoon as for my little trip the only thing hurt was my pride i think. So keep shooting & stay safe.
Surprised the salt line rot didnt get her. They recently had to scrap a preserved trawler at Fleetwood because of this.
Here's a challenge for you shaun, why dont you come to Belfst and do a vlog on the shipyard (Harland & Wolfe) and surrounding area's.
Don't be silly. lol But you never know maybe one day.
beautiful
Très belle vidéo et bravo pour la sauvegarde de ce magnifique chalutier " classique " car ici en France et notamment à Boulogne -sur -mer on a pas été capable de faire la même chose !
Great ship, just love that design, hope she gets the refit and life extension she deserves and becomes a permanent museum. I’d come and see her ! 👍 With grateful thanks to all who worked on her, risking their lives to put fish on our tables.

She has gone away for refurbishment and will return to a more permanent mooring near the marina in a few years i believe.
I imagine that tug had to do lots of prop wash to unstick it from the mud! Smiles
Wow! Such a beautiful Lay of the Sea. Sad to see that it took 20 years for there to be an interest in this One. Beautiful
So sad for a great wessel being stucked in mud for so long
At least she didn't go for scrap.
