I didn’t ever really like owonekko as a creator, I found her a bit irritating and I thought some of her redesigns weren’t the best. She is undeniably talented though, and it doesn’t bring me any joy to see a rising creator just obliterate their promising career over a stupid ai music video. She could have apologized and been absolutely fine. It’s just sad to watch.

Ok but what exactly would call this art type the dark tones with the brightening white neon lights because I found it so interesting as a concept and that’s the only thing I’ll thank the ai prompter for

I love doing these kinds of things bc the character design just takes on a life of its own , it's kinda fun to steal pinterest ai "art" and make it my own

I’m not saying Owonekos responses are right by any means. HOWEVER I do feel like ppl don’t realize the amount of backlash and hate she’s receiving. Of course ppl are allowed to give constructive criticism on whatever they want esp on a public UA-cam video. But unfortunately, a lot of the criticism is being drowned out by hate comments (which aren’t really helpful at all), and also the constructive criticism is probably being repeated to her by thousands of ppl all day everyday. So yeah I can understand why she would spiral out of control because of this.

this is the first video i’m seeing by u, but i’m def subbing. i was a huge Neko fan prior to the controversy and i appreciate ur take, but im subbing bc i have never seen someone make this kind of commentary over an animating time lapse only ever drawing. i think it’s awesome and im looking forward to seeing more
