I have one of both I love them they are actually a lot closer than you said in this video they are great together and my older Staffy has taught my dogo so much they are both beautiful dogs wouldn't trade either for the world nor am I afraid of anything 😊 but that was a great comparison. My dogo spends most of his day looking up in the trees for squirrel lol

I have a Newfoundland and he occasionally will let out one bark to get attention, it is so deep that it sounds like too much effort to bark much. My mother has a German Shepard and nearly drives me insane with his barking, will bark for about 10 minutes when you turn up, just from sheer excitement, he also barks at a leaf falling from the tree or any excuse, so it is a constant noise.

They are definitely NOT a dog that you can have, play with a couple times a week, and otherwise just leave them alone. If that is the kind of dog you want, a labrador would be a much better choice. Huskies also tend to be quite healthy dogs and are among the most long-lived of breeds.

I think it's too far when people say there dogs are there kids. Kids are kids, dogs are dogs. Or when my beloved 4 legged friend is my kid or I'm the "dad." If you don't overfeed them and get them exercise, they can be quiet healthy and not snore. Mine were easy to potty train, and if they got enough interaction very obedient, and didn't bark much.
