    We are running into an issue where we want all ZD tickets synced to the SFDC Account for visibility purposes for Account Managers, CSMs and Launch Managers. With the current limitations of the SFDC and ZD integration the only way to show a ticket on SFDC Account page that was submitted to or in ZD the requester has to be a contact on the Corporation in ZD. In a lot of cases our ZD tickets are submitted by internals who are not contacts on ZD Corp that they manage. My question is, could I use your mapping feature to sync the SFDC Account Name to the Corporation field in ZD and then have the ZD/SFDC sync that ticket to the account page in SFDC so that all tickets for that account, regardless who is submitting it, display in SFDC?

    Question: Is there a way to automate a parent-child ticket relationship with Exalate? So let's suppose I have a parent ticket in zendesk with several child tickets. And in Jira I have a Problem ticket with several Incident tickets linked to it. Suppose I have the parent ticket from Zendesk linked to the Problem ticket from Jira. Now, imagine I create a new ticket and I set it as child to the parent ticket in Zendesk, Is there a way to automatically create an incident ticket in Jira and assign it to the problem ticket? If I create a Problem ticket in Jira is there a way to automatically create a parent ticket on Zendesk? If I link an incident ticket to a Prloblem ticket in Jira, and both tickets are linked to a child and parent ticket in Zendesk respectively, is there a way to automatically link the child ticket to the parent ticket in Zendesk ( replicate the linking in Zendesk)?

    Could I configure a scenario, where I create a JIRA ticket (type=story/epic) and nothing gets sync'ed to github, but if I create a JIRA-task, it syncs? And if a developer creates an issue this gets linked automatically to a JIRA story/epic by auto-creating a JIRA-task below of the story/epic? So, the github repo would have a link to a particular JIRA story/epic? Currently I use JIRA as a business analyst (epics and stories below of the epic) and have always to create weblinks to the stories to see which github issues are the tasks for the JIRA-story to fulfill it. Can I automate this round-trip-wise?

    • @exalate-integration
      @exalate-integration 2 роки тому

      For the first question: Of course, it could be specified on the Outgoing sync rules of Jira by wrapping up the synchronized entities onto the "If" condition. For example: ---------------------- If (issueType == "Task") { replica.type = issue.type replica.assignee = issue.assignee replica.reporter = issue.reporter replica.summary = issue.summary replica.description = issue.description replica.labels = issue.labels replica.comments = issue.comments replica.resolution = issue.resolution replica.status = issue.status replica.parentId = issue.parentId replica.priority = issue.priority replica.attachments = issue.attachments replica.project = issue.project } ----------------------- For the second question: This might be possible, but will require some playing around with a code. I would suggest using this documentation as a fundament: (docs.idalko.com/exalate/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=49153345) but changing 👇 ---------------------- "Remote key is ${issueUrl} ---------------------- to the parent link of the synced task (it might be pulled out from the replica). Please feel free to book a demo with one of our experts if you still have more questions: exalate.com/book-demo/ Cheers!

    Hi In my company we need to replicate or clone a project from our jira cloud to the jira cloud of our client from time to time in such a way that they can observe the progress of the project, exalate can do this?

    • @exalate-integration
      @exalate-integration 2 роки тому

      Hi Fernando Thanks for the question! Exalate is a bi-directional synchronization solution that syncs issues in two independent issue trackers. It can replicate issue data from one system to the other, and hence can be used to replicate the issues contained within the project (on one side) to another project (the client side). But you will have to take care of the project configuration part for this to work i.e. the other side should have a project created with the expected workflow and expected user-defined fields, etc. Exalate cannot replicate the configuration part, but can fully deal with the issues themselves.

      Hi Cloudy Affair! Apps are managed via the Universal Plugin Manager (known as the UPM) aka the “Manage Apps” tab to manage them. This tab can be found in most Atlassian applications by clicking on “Apps” in the center of the page and then “Manage apps”. You need to be an Atlassian Cloud site admin to access the UPM. Cheers
