The title is most certainly inaccurate, which popular vote would confirm, would we decide that it had any truth value.
Sleeping Parrot ? Funny walks ?
Tinny, oh, oh oh, you cad, you. I love the British and their comedic timing.
She's freaking out about the word "tinny" but she said "tin" a minute earlier......
"Oh dear, I'm bored. better go have a bath I suppose." I find myself saying that one quite often xD
I adopted thinking “It gives me confidence” about all sorts of unnecessary things. like 20 browser tabs I don't actually need anymore
my favorite is Graham with Cleese and their mortuary sketch [i.e. eating the corpse]. I read Cleese liked that one too
Conceptual Continuity, this probably evolved into what was used on the knights of Ni……”is”!!
Every Monty Python sketch is their best, I have a total set in my mind and worship it whenever I sit on a toilet
RIP Graham Chapman. He's been long gonnnnnne.
english humour? SMFH zzzzz
GORN
Well, I must say, this sketch is frightfully silly, don't you think? Raaatherrr
Re @alanbayley3255: What a blow for you.
Not even close to the best skit.
Dead, is she? What a blow for her
I like the cheese shop the best!
Is that Loretta?
i dont get these british jokes 🤔
If this is their best, what does their worst look like?
Yea, this is pretty much OCD
Definitely one of the best!
People used to think that was witty? Is is utter garbage.
9 baths today…😂
You can tell this show was written by English majors. My favorite sketch is the one about using sarcasm.
Good one, but I disagree on it being their "best sketch ever". The Earnest Scribbler sketch beats this one hands down.
A moronic skit about the now all but defunct upper class. Now all we have instead is an unsightly, ill-dressed, ill-spoken rabble.
And now over to something completely different... ...KA-BOOOOOOOM!!!!!...
I like spam, the parrot sketch, fish slapping dance, Spanish Inquisition , silly walks.....
Good but not best ever, that goes to Fish Licence.
What an odd bunch of ducks. Entertaining.
I worked on this sketch as a trainee camera operator and unfortunately when Graham Chapman fired the gun the wadding ricocheted off the studio floor and hit me in the chest. I was splattered with wadding but didn't really feel to much. The frightening bit was people looking at me with shocked expressions on their faces. If you watch closely, Graham didn't point the riffle through the window but fires it into the floor. Anyhow I was fine, so all good.
Stupid, a very woody sounding word, stupid, the very woody best sketch ever, woody, tin, tit, very woody, yes?...
Meh
*Thumbs-down.* Don't get on a site and claim this is So-and-so's best whatever.
This sketch gives me confidence
“Cheese mongers shop”is the one that cracks me up the most.
Dead parrot has to be the best sketch. Lumberjack, Spanish Inquisition and the fish slapping dance.
bowels - that word gets me - as in "did you move your bowels today?" or "i was disemboweled by a pack of wild hyenas and i loved it, better then dying peacefully in your sleep!"
I could only stomach 2.5 minutes. Perhaps something has been lorst in translation, what?
Americans have words like Grits. I mean how could a food sound like something you spread on the road. How's yer grits?

The Dirty Fork Sketch Is For Me The Funniest , 19.10.2024. Dublin . 22.32hrs.
The Parrot sketch and the Cheese Shop are hard to beat as favourites for me...
I've seen much funnier Monty P. sketches especially the Spanish Inquisition ones! This one is not even in the top 50%.
Nonsense. Graham is in absolutely TOP form. Definitely woody.
The Dead Parrot sketch is a classic
ALBATROS
Cabbage crates coming over the briny, and one on't cross beams gone owt askew on treadle.
Right up there with "The Bishop!"
What about "moist", ...is that a good word?
