In this remembering we honor the African mythic tradition that is the foundation for Africanist life. Our Guest Speaker is Dr. Clyde W. Historically, learning has been personal and social-we didn’t end up doing most of our learning all by ourselves-we worked with others, and assisted one another to learn within zones of proximal development. Many facets of today’s learning rely on impersonal communication and incomplete interpersonal cues, affecting both immediate understanding and deeper subconscious development. This lively d...

    I heard about Fanny Brewster, when I was attending a retreat given by Brother Don Bisson, during the retreat he was facilitating in 2019 in St, Francisco. I asked him about was there any African American Jungian therapists, who have written anything, and he mentioned Dr. Fanny Brewster. When I went to enquire and purchase something written about her, I found her books "very" expensive, and out of my price wage. Is there a way to purchased her work, for people who are not economically privilege to purchased them at the prices they are offered, are they expensive because they are text books?

    CAJ sounds like me, a Scanner. Look it up, it's quite validating!!! I love so many artistic mediums~ acting, dance, singing, music, musicals, writing, illustration, calligraphy, photography, fashion design....and so much more! I just watched her interview on Next Level Soul Podcast and JUST bought her book (Kindle Version because it would have taken too long to get the book shipped! And I'm too excited to wait 😂) I'm journaling the first exercise and this clicks in to my healing journey from childhood that I am already on and have been on for the last 5 years. I believe in God/Creator but I'm also deconstructing and restructuring my Faith.... Years ago I wouldn't have listened or read anything by CAJ because I steered clear of anyone or anything that wasn't "Christian". 🤦🏻‍♀️ Over the years the box I had faith and God in was obliterated, thank goodness! My faith, journey and ideas no longer hinge on if the source comes from someone I believe the same things with....nope! The universe is MUCH bigger and more complex than all that. Catherine, bless you. I have an excitement brewing in my belly and heart! When you spoke of that little whisper inside us, the one that got you out of that apartment before the AC box landed on the chair you were sitting in....that's what I'm listening to. I want to get back to ME. I want to COME HOME to my true self. I'm on my way, thanks to you.

    Just goes to show educated, successful women can be ridiculously naive and/or low in self-esteem to entertain charlatan sleezebags like Moses. Whenever I wish I was more beautiful, intelligent or sucessful I just have to look at these hetero relationships and I realise, these women I admire havent got it better than me when it comes to love!😂

    I enjoyed the article in The Independent that recently featured your new book. What struck me most was the mention of Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto being in Capricorn this year. Very intriguing.

    Wow you did fill a gap and had Jung started at the top of the mountain instead of the middle of the maya minutia his life would have been a lot simpler...and maybe more productive/effective. Just sayin’ This lady is just great. :>

    Why Leanne did the church turn the pinecone into a symbol of the virgin birth

    • @erikmeyer2323
      @erikmeyer2323 5 років тому

      Because it is allegorical. The 7th chakra is where the spirit of the creator is birthed into our 3rd D reality. And that "birthing canal" leading to that chakra is always new. And the Pineal Gland resembles a pine cone in appearance. Hence ... the peace of forever becoming manifests and was real for an instant. E
