Did you happen to experience an engine revving issue when experiencing your problems? I have a loud noise coming from the engine bay that I thought was the belts. Took the belt off and inspected it but noticed no issues. It threw the same error code that yours did but its also revving really high and then back down with the foot off of the gas pedal.

The xc90 fuse is also No. 10. But No. 10 has no fuse

Thanks man! I wasn’t sure if it was going to fix my issue, but I did have a tear on mine. Five minutes later and it worked like a charm. That squealing noise was driving me crazy.

How to check, is a PCV valve membrane still good or faulty already? Just put a latex glove over the oil refill hole (cap has to be removed), then start engine. If glove is inflating with gases, look for new membrane - PCV doesn't work properly. If glove is tend to be sucked in, you're OK.

Hi do you have an email address where I can send a pic of a hose? My son in law is having a heck of a time removing a hose. I'm trying to find someone who can give some tips on getting it removed. He has tried for hours! It's an engine coolant hose.

i have a code p0171. when the car is in park, the rev goes up from 500 to 2000 up and down. when i open the engine cover, i see oil leakage. did you clean up the oil or was there no oil leakage?

You not supposed to replace the diagram only over time it will leak oil around the oil trap itself. I am a Volvo tech and I own a 2015 2.0 engine as well as a 2011 s60 2.5 engine

I have 2017 xc90 and I am 2 hrs from home and ordered the part, but won’t be in until Monday. Do you think i will be able to drive it back without causing any major damage to the vehicle since I do not have any other vehicle to use to get back home? I thought of using a gasket sealant TO temporarily seal the blown gasket until part comes in

are these reliable? i dont want a mazda mom car or boring ass camry
