these 4 videos will give one as good an idea of the game the way it sounds and plays and just of the nteractions you can have with this game. One of my favorites over 60 skirmish contest and I have yet to play the campaign, I have also created a doz diff unit formations for both sides. Player Freedom is number one and the AI is good relentless on hardest difficulty. One of the best rts games ever if u are into that sort of rankings

nice graphics but why play this instead of Combat Mission Shock Force 2? Seeing the Bradley at 0:58 turn around to present its rear to the enemy T-72 60 meters away got my eyebrows raised.

one man show near as I can figure released in 2016 doted on the dev and a community for a good while then as we say got back shelfed...I mean who actually says that... anyway great reviews and has a level you could play for days if you this super slow on a big map max units. the game has himars and similar capabilities in spec units not under hq control. similar to off board arty mechanics or off board air, cept you see the units sort of CMO style. Spiritual neighbor or relative to Command Ops 2, Command Modern Oper., and 90% of modern naval games of a sort. You can run through plans for Wargame Reddragon or Regiments- in ten minutes on this as Waronoi is "current lethality" in systems. Radio chatter get a little much at times. Great game.

rts games are just insaneeeeeee in a good way

all the while the flute and madrigal stylings strum and play it is very very period perfect imho

the last 40 mins or so is base bldg/maintenace, recruiting and 2 auto resolve seige battles. In short the tutorial prologue at its end will continue your journey with the opening historical French noble.. Auto resolve mechanic revealed at 1hr 10min mark, advisors are introduced as well in this last 40 mins. vid ends on the next part of the adventure

35 min mark or so there is naval fighting but not how you expected, as part of the tutorial.

I see two serious problems with this game: 1. Not enough zoom out. and 2. (which magnifies the 1st problem): no mini map. And these 2 problems pretty much make this game terrible as a strategy game. I mean...how can you strategize without an overview of the whole map.
