Hi Keela, Thanks for your feed back. I wanted to explain, because it will be very different from nurse to nurse. It will depend on how many clients you see per day. It also depends on what services you provide. A busy established office will have clients, but you need to build clients. If you open your own med spa and it’s busy you could make over a million. I've been a ER nurse, paramedic, dental assistant, but I always wanted to do the job that you're doing because I think I would be very great at it since I have artistic Talent I wanted to ask the honest-to-god truth from a nurse that would tell me the truth. I'm an older nurse and I was wondering if anyone would use me since I'm not young. Would it be worth the investment in the learning and classes?

Honest question. I have applied to many aesthetic practices and done interviews. It’s so competitive and I honestly wud rather jus open one myself. I want to kno how to get the training tho. Where are there classes that teach me how to do prp and chemical peels? Microneedling and ipl? I jus need to be trained. I tried to do on the job training but I haven’t landed a job in the field yet. There aren’t that many positions open. Most already have their 2 nurses they need. I’m also black and not many places have ethnic diversity. I know there is a lane for ethnic women as well working in aesthetics. I would like to pay for training somewhere and get certificates of completion.

Thanks so much for your story and motivation. I 'm a med surg RN, I'm having hard time to find aesthetic job nurse now because I have no aesthetic experience. But I went to classes and got train and I'm really motivated. I think I just have to keep studying and applying for now ;)

This is my dream job and why I chose nursing. But as a new nurse it’s so hard to get into aesthetic nursing. Thanks, hopefully one day I’ll get there.
