I can't get enough of this kid. The Internet is full of child prodigies--most of them on guitar--and there's endless monotonous videos of them noodling around playing a million notes a second in their rooms, completely devoid of any context. This, this right here, is the real test. This kid isn't a party trick; he's an actual musician. Laying down an actual piece of music with other people, serving that sound with technique and feel and putting the total creation above your own ego-I mean the kid's got good technique, but he's got something 1,000x more important than that. He's actually making music. I don't care how many mindless two-handed tapping notes most of the guitar shredders can play in a second. I would not pay money to hear them do that live. I would absolutely pay money to go see this kid live. That's the difference.
