help omg idk why i genuinely thought it would be easy for me to do this but you are skin goals, eye color goals, hair goals, ext 😭😭. anyway here are some broader things you may like for freshmen year! -grow out your natural eye lashes with oils, serums, or even petroleum jelly (like vaseline - it actually works lol) -be consistent with trimming your eyebrows and shaping them, the way you shape them entirely changes your face, trimming the extra little hairs rly makes a difference! -when not using lip products, i rly recommend using lip moisturizers like laneige, glossier, vaseline, ect (it helps keeps them from drying out, which makes your lip combos flaky!) -try new hair styles to rly stand out and distract from your insecurities (if you have any - i don’t this so tho - ur fricken stunning), more people will notice you - even if you’re shy it’s good to have people know who you are - especially teachers -if you haven’t already, really take freshmen year to find your style! however, styles change ofc so i recommend rly focusing on what you like to wear, what looks flattering on you in YOUR opinion - not others, and what feels good on you - geniunly a confidence booster when you find your style! -experiment with makeup looks! try and find one that enhances your natural features, makes you feel confident, and that you can rely on! -eliminate toxic people, high school is much bigger then middle or grade school and you will be exposed to a lot of different people - so will your friends, maybe some you thought you could trust will turn. keep a close circle, stay on everyone good graces. i beg you, don’t do stupid things you’ll regret. -learn a variety of study techniques to figure out which work best for your learning before you have more intense testing in a few years! this will rly improve your grades! here’s a lil thing for ur nose cuz i’ve seen comments talking bout it: i have a friend who’s rly insecure with her larger nose so she liked to contour it (idk if your nose bothers you but you could try that - DO NOT change it if others tell you too! i’m getting to the good part of the story) and her old friend group used to convince her it was horrific and she needed to cover it up, but when she found her current friends (including myself) she has expressed to me she feels way better and i haven’t seen her contour her nose in over a year! point being: unless it bothers YOU and YOU only (which the only reason it would is because you care about validation of others - which isn’t bad it’s a natural human thing) try changing your surroundings before changing a part of you. idk if you’re religious or not but God, or the world (if you aren’t) gave you that nose and that nose specifically and everything happens for a reason, even if you don’t like it now, you will grow to like it just like my friend <3 speaking of religion, if you are religious, read this, if you aren’t, you can skip it that’s okay! i personally am christian and i find connecting to God is very helpful in big years like freshmen. he gives me a source of guidance and security while reminding me i’m on the earth for a reason. he died for me, so i shall live for him, not die with him. whenever i encounter a.. let’s say.. not my favorite type of person, it has rly helped me to remind myself they are still God’s child, still a work in progress, (just like myself). he has also helped me get my morals straight like getting good grades, picking up extracurriculars i actually like, and not being pressured into anything i’m not comfortable with (finding people you trust is key). anyway, idk if you read that last part or even this whole thing (i’m a paragraph person - sry queen!) but hopefully this somewhat helps!
