How does language affect speech community?
Shared language develops a well knitted speech community , because your language is your behaviour. So positive language presents a civilised community.
Thank you
How does culture influence the language of a particular speech community?
Dear Your culture defines your language like if you are in cold area where snow falling is common, you must have different words for talking about different forms of snow.similary , if your community loves tea and coffee, you must v different words like black tea , green tea, white tea, pink tea etc. Culture provides different words and expressions for talking about multiple things present in your community. Language is influenced by culture, similarly culture is influenced by language mutually as two way process. Future, you please study linguistic relatively.
This further not future please.

Pakistan.....Thank for your magnificent lecture
Thank you.
so in what way is the speech act theory helpful? regarding meaning, I mean
Speech act theory is related to pragmatics and semantics. According to this theory you get intended/ contextual meaning as well as literal one. You can say semantics is 1st step and pragmatics is the second but significant one.
@@LanguageandLinguistics thank you! now i understand the concept more! is there anything that the speech act theory actually solves regarding meaning? i've been only finding arguments that say that they find faults and flaws within the theory
