Yuichi’s plan for Hyakutaru to switch sides was really bad. In fact, letting anyone switch to your team would be bad. All the person who switches to your team would need to do is hit one of their previous teammates. So technically, if anyone was smart, Hyakutaru would have punched someone as soon as he switched sides to win rather than getting trapped by Yuichi. Even while he was tied up, Hyakutaru could have bitten one of his teammates and still got the team victory.
