Super Adventure Box (Guild Wars 2) World 1 Tribulation Run
Recording my route for next year in case I forget it. The double jump skip stone has been removed from zone 1, zone 2 remains the same as always, and I found a new and fun way through the bottom of zone 3 with a double jump.

Mechwarrior 5 Closed Beta Test Gameplay

An attempt to solo one of the Instant Action missions available in the Mechwarrior 5 CBT. The "recommended tonnage" is 400 tons, but the enemy units don't target individual components, nor do their 'Mechs run sensible builds. It's perfectly possible to solo these missions in a 55 ton Medium 'Mech, just don't get caught out by the sudden enemy spawns near the start like I did.

The code is pretty indecipherable, when I started it I didn't really know what I was going to make beyond displaying a lot of terrain. I used geometry clipmaps to display the terrain but as you'll notice I haven't implemented every feature (such as turning off high resolution clipmap layers when the camera is far from them). I used a perlin noise texture sent to the GPU instead of a high res texture

The fade out at the end is performed within the demo, and is a 100x acceleration of the day-night cycle I've currently implemented.
