Simple beginner friendly -step by step instructions Infinity Scarf Crochet Pattern

Materials needed: 5 or 6mm crochet hook, approximately 240 yards of worsted weight yarn or DK (100 grams), yarn needle.
(add more rows if you prefer or if using thinner yarn, but end on a repeat of row 6 with HDC instead of DC)
Stitches (US terms)
Ch-Chain
HDC- Half Double Crochet
DC- Double Crochet
3rd loop- the loop under the back loop of the HDC of previous row.
Ch 110 (approximately 24 inches) SL into first chain to make a ring-make sure the chain is not twisted before connecting ring.
Ch3 (does not count as stitch)
Row 1- HDC into same chain and every chain around (110 HDCs) SL into first HDC of row, CH 3.
Row 2- DC in 3rd loop of each HDC of previous row, SL into first DC of row, Ch4.
Row 3- *Skip one stitch, DC in next stitch* repeat until end of row, SL into 3rd chain of the beginning chain 4. Ch 3
Row 4- 2 DC in each chain space of previous row, SL into first DC of row, Ch 2
Row 5- HDC in same stitch and every stitch around (110) SL into first HDC of row, Ch 3
Row 6- DC in 3rd loop of each HDC of previous row, SL in first DC of row, Ch4
Row 7- Repeat row 3
Row 8- Repeat row 4
Row 9- Repeat row 5
Row 10- Repeat row 6
Row 11- Repeat row 3
Row 12- Repeat row 4
Row 13- Repeat row 5
Row 14- Repeat row 6
Row 15- Repeat row 3
Row 16- Repeat row 4
Row 17- Repeat row 5
Row 18- Repeat row 6
Row 19- Repeat row 3
Row 20- Repeat row 4
Row 21- HDC in 3rd loop of each HDC of previous row, SL in first HDC of row, Finish Off.
