Interview With GM Jose Martinez Alcantara - Jospem
Is there gonna be the full interview soon? :)
in a day or two
The sound is very low.
If Ding Liren does not bring his 2018 form, before the 10th game, the result will be sealed.
Ding didn't won a single classical game in last 25+ games.... Gukesh didn't lost single classical game in last 35 games....
*lose
Awonder is a great human being an incredible player. I meet him in a Tournament in Toronto where he actually won. Thanks!
Gukesh ❤❤

Very nicely put by Nihal, Gukesh is a favorite but you can't discound a player of Ding's caliber. Form is temporary, class is forever.
Awesome vid! Tho maybe up the volume up a bit , anways just subbed ❤
Thanks for the interview :D Nihal is my favorite chess player <3
Nihal should be made part of the Indian Team replacing Harikrisna to complete an all young Indian Chess prodigies Team! They would probably beat all their opponents 4-0
Looking at the down fall of Ding, you think Gukesh will try to take certain risk thinking he can out play Ding? And with this mindset he takes risk and Ding wins the championship? I think this is a possibility.
Happy that Nihal is being challenged . If he just hits the right gear the magical trio of ArGuPra will become a fab 4 . Too young he has nthn to lose . He ll comeback stronger
Tell me I'm wrong when I say he looks like Toby Macguire from the second spiderman movie...
NIHAL IS A MONSTERRR
The way Indian chess fans miss Nihal says a lot about his stature in Chess world.. Hope to see him back in major tournaments soon.
Miss?? Gukesh, Arjun & Pragg clearly overshadowed him. People are starting to forget about him if he doesn't make a comeback
Gukesh should have rested and prep for his world championship match and should have given chance to nihal or anyone else. Nihal is still young he needs big tournaments like the olymiads. He needs more then Gukesh right now.
@@Eagerlearner278 Nihal cannot win us the Olympiad like Gukesh.
@@redeyexxx1841 I think youngest world champion from India is more important then olympiad.
@@Eagerlearner278 Gukesh will win it I think. Because Gukesh is in good form and Ding is in the worst form of his life.
Nihal used to be a monster
He still is a monster in online bullet
Let him cook
Ding better just forfeit
Not Ding chapion
Nihal I am missing you.
Nihal!! What happened to you? you were ahead of both pragg and gukesh. you won junior speed championships. you crossed 2700. you were the second best junior after firouza. then you degraded. why!!!!
Hunger to go to next level. I hope he helps Gukesh win by being part of his team and goes hard next year to hit Super GM level. Very hard to get big tournament invites with 4 indians in Top 10 and another 2 in Top 30 but he can still go up a lot taking Arjun route playing Opens and other closed tournaments.
Classical is different than speed chess
@@studyonly9994 Back in 2019 he was the highest rated junior even in classical. COVID stopped his momentum and he has not recovered since then. Gukesh, Arjun and Pragg used COVID to improve their games adn went to Super GM levels.
@@sreesubHe will catch them bruh and Nihal is brilliant at chess i thought he ll be 5th on the place of Harikrishna in Olympiad but no worries nihal is a tremendous hard working person he will definitely reach the top.
Doesnt matter. He is still in his early 20s. He has lost like 30 40 points. Thats nothing. Let him stabilize things, coordinate with his team, earn some money and things will settle. He is definitely a 2700 2750 player.
Very underrated player. Thanks for the interview!
tldw: he doesn't want to play under jetlag, and can't come early enough to adjust to jetlag
Good interview! It's very rare that we get an interview with Nihal lasting around 20 minutes. Good questions too. Thank you!
Gukesh ❤❤
Virat Kooli might slso win cup ...
Plus, why is Kramnik afraid or scared of the 3+1 format?? He made his claims in that format.
Inalso liked the fair points Jose Martinez made during an interview which was published on a web: VK is a former champion, he prepared better than Jose, Titles Tuesday DON’T allow you to prepare for just ONE person. Jose has beaten VK because 11-0 BECAUSE JOSE IS QUICKER and better prepared against DIFFERENT opponents in the same tournament, whereas VK is not. Jose, you’re TOP class.
Thanks for the interview. I really think Jose Martinez is much better than a couple of months ago.
