Massive help, thank you 😊
No worries, glad you found it helpful
Hi h1r2 is this a led bulb so it's a white light bulb just wondering if the white are road legal I know they look better than the yellow
Fucking legend man
Glad it helped you bud
Thank you ❤
Thank you for the video, it helped me a lot! Let me just add a few things as there might be some clumsy folks like me, overcomplicating things :D (I have a 2019 Auris, it's all the same except the really short wire as others mentioned here) 1. You can remove the clip fixing the windscreen washer clip if you push its pin from under. Top part of that pin is the inner circle of the clip. Once you remove it, you can pull the outer ring of the clip. This way, you may avoid forcing/braking the pin like me. 2. Once you removed the windscreen washer tube and the cover, turn the bulb socket counterclockwise for about 45 degrees and pull out. 3. Push the orange clip on the socket below the small black rectangle as shown on the video (of course I tried to push the black thing)
Thank you for this video! Really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks man! 5 minutes and I have new bulbs :)
Nice work!
what controller do you have and does it still work 2 years on. i have heard they can be prone to failing quite quickly...I wanted to get a wifi controller, but have decided a timer built in on the element itself might be good enough.
How do you take the windscreen washer clip out? Thats the hardest part of all this for me lool
You can remove the clip if you push its pin from under. Top part of that pin is the inner circle of the clip (if you look from above, there is an inner circle and and outer ring). Once you remove it, you can pull the outer ring of the clip. This way, you may avoid forcing/braking the pin like me.
Thanks very much. Without your helpful video I would of broken something and needed a whole new unit .😂
Glad I could help
Thanks dude.
Brilliant. I first thought "how hard can it be to change a lightbulb", turns out I would still be lost without your video. Thanks a lot!
Ha ha! Glad it helped you
Guide works fine on my 2018 model too.
Thank you, I thought I was going to have to remove the windscreen washer bottle👍
Cheers!
Thanks bro
Thank you. Very good vid
Tried this on 2017 auris, the bulb is much deeper into the "tunnel" thing there, its a pain in the ass to get out, took me over 10-15 minutes of wiggling to finally release it, then the pin which would "just come out" according to the video, well, forget about it, the plastic pin moves but its not releasing shit, the wires that are in the way don't help with the process. The other side has so much room, but my hands are mangled from doing this. I don't understand why they did not make the wires that connect the bulbs just a little bit longer... Not critiquing your video, just ranting about the overall process.
Sorry you had such a pain. I wish they made it easier for some self servicing parts! My video was for a 2013 - 2015 model, so suspect yours will be slightly different being a 2017 model. So annoying for you though as although a bit fiddly, my model wasn't so bad (although I do have long skinny fingers which prob helps!)
@@1tommyboy My hands are pretty slim, I finally managed to pop it open after like a hour, I bought a cheaper version of the light before I knew what would await me, if I knew what I know now, I would choose the more expensive one so I don't have to go through this process again hahaha.
Just did this on 2017 Auris. Had to press the pin with a screwdriver quite hard for it to release the bulb. And the bulb is definitely much deeper. Anyways, I'm certain that I would not have pulled this off without this video. So much easier when you know what you should do. Thanks a lot for the video!
@jarikettunen1850 thanks Jari, glad it helped you
Thanks for your help brilliant video mate
What if all your radiators are dual fuel? Does that mean that you can use it Hybrid? So your boiler and electric work together? For example in Winter.
I'm no plumber, I definately admit! But I don't think this will work well as - if you don't shut the rad off to use for electric, then you won't just heat that radiator, the heated water will start to go around the rest of the central heating system, so would be highly inefficient at getting really hot and cost a fortune to run - that's how I understand it anyway!
Changed the bulb in two minutes. Great video, thanks.
Thanks, glad that it helped (took me ages to work out 1st time)!
Awesome video. You have saved my sanity!! Thanks a lot
No worries! Glad it helped you
Thanks 👍
Great video - thank you!
Thanks, I'm glad it helped.
But from electric to central heating?
thanks a lot !!!
Great instruction
Thanks!
Thank you - straight to the point video - very helpful
Thank You, this was very good
Glad it was helpful!
Fuckin adverts
How do you turn the damn thing off? It's out of the car but still incessantly beeping.
Perfect instructions pal 👍
Thanks Amit
Can I forward face this car seat do you remember. I have the same type and I wonder what type it was called
The base can go forwards or backwards yes. Although car seats should be rear facing until 15 months I believe - although the longer the better as rear facing is proven to be safer
@@1tommyboy yes he is 19 months but how did you get it forward facing if u did
Thank you. Most helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Cheers man, really helpful video :)
Thanks Frank
OR - leave in- or outlet open when in electric mode. OR - close both in- and outlet fully and bleed the valve when the radiator is hot, close the valve, creating a vacuum when the radiator cools..
Brilliant mate, all videos are about getting it in, couldn’t get the baby out 😂
Ha ha, glad you worked it out buddy
Thanks Alot mate. Was getting very stressed not being a le to get that out 😂
Glad it helped you
Great
I have no interest till all restrictions are over. We enjoy the garden with mates
I think garden beer will stay far more popular moving forwards - cheaper, easier and no closing times!
@@1tommyboy 💯
Really clear and useful instructions thanks. We were struggling to get the seat off the base but your video showed us exactly what to do.
Yes thanks for this video, just been trying to release this thing from the isofix, didnt know how to get it off. Job done thank you 💛
Hi Tom..great video..thanks.. saved me several hours fighting with the car seat!!
Spot on video!!! Thanks a lot 👍
Brilliant nobody else explained this !!! You really have to use force to get it out. It makes you think your gonna damage it.
Mate... After a long week in hospital due complications during birth, I finally got to take my baby boy and wife home yesterday. I was walking on air back to the car. But then I discovered I couldn't get the chair out of the base. Given I'd had 3 meals, and a tiny amount of sleep the whole week (all of which was on the floor), I was not in the best mindset to recall or figure out the beast. I wrestled with the mofo for ages, but couldn't get it. Tears of frustration were rolling down my cheeks at the futility of my efforts. The situation was bleak. I was beaten. Your video solved that in about 1 minute. We're bro's now.
zxspeccy48k glad to hear it helped, I couldn't find how to do it so wanted to share! Hope all is well with the little one mate. Enjoy!
@ad Congratulations! It's great fun - try to enjoy it as much a possible because the pace is pretty quick!
@@1tommyboy Well Tom, 2 and half years on I can say it was nothing like I imagined it - far better to be honest. He's all good now, which I'm obviously counting my lucky stars for. Weird that he's long since outgrown that seat... 😲 Reading Ad's message made me wonder how many new fathers you've helped over the years. Great job fella!
Very informative, thanks !
best video i watched. helped a lot. Thank you
