The golem is insanely strong. The game shows a level but actually his damage is like 10 leves above. But well, just have a Priest, farm aaaaand use stun habilities.

I fucking hated that the golem (and the spiders in that cave) had ranged attacks and they also dealt magic damage while we barely even get any magic resistance skills or items@@Siyarmull

@@DavidGlendaleArdenaso Facing the Ice Golem boss at layer 4 is very easy if u have 60+ magic resistance. U just need to spam elixir. Also get the freeze or Ice chance on items (Plate armor in memory layer/Desolator/Vengeance). I used black knight on finishing the game without death.

i'm new to the game, which classes are "nerfed" and which 2 (the non nerfed ones) should I play instead? If you dont mind, is there a certain build you play on those non nerfed classes? could you also go over how some classes are nerfed? there aren't many resources for this old game

@@BloodyHowl69 oh sorry late reply (i don't go to YT much except for memory lane with old games). Pretty much the most preferred classes to use here are: Black Knight, Warrior, and Assassin. Those three-mentioned are much more OP'd, if used well. The BK is just a dark version of Templar from III, much more focused on offensive while reasonably tanky. Warrior still appears as powerful here, just like in III. You omly needed to properly set skills that will boost his power, dps and def while filleting enemy defenses. Lastly, the Assassin is much, much more powerful in IV. Pretty similar to Rogue in III, both depend on evasion and aggressiveness of their attacks. However, Assassin's skillset is a lot more focused with inflicting active fatal blows. The Rogue in III solely relies on its passive skills that amplifies the active skills while needing a tank to hold the enemies off. Last comparisn are: Rangers, Priests and Warlocks. Ranger's greatest asset is it's range and critical blows. Always has to use a tank to hold off enemies. Unlike in III, the Shadow Hunter is more focused on strategically inflicting fatal hits. Both are still good at providing support while still needing a tank. Priests in IV became tanks and a bit less focused on support and control. Only good for healing and meatshield. Unlike in III, Priests, despite being squishy meat, they're much more focused on strong support and maintaining crowd-control with reliable debuffs. They can save your ass with 'Barrier' skill, should you be in a pinch. The Warlock is a lot more focused with offense and will still need a support or tank. Unlike in III, the Archmage has offensive and support skills. Excellent at crippling opponents in groups while using golems to back them up. They can also keep enemy numbers in check or dead ontheir tracks. So here's my take for your main: just use a tank with like Warriors or Black Knights. Or an assassin class, if you want an endgamer
