That is disconcerting. I am joining my wife at the USE interview in Jakarta on 10/8/24. I am retired at age 69 now living on social security and am $3,000 short of the 125% necessary. I have close to 1 million in assets. To learn that the consular office can simply ignore the law is disconcerting at best. Thanks for the heads up.

Question on police character certificate from a foreign country Hi dear I worked in a foreign country while I was 30 years old.Now I m 73 years old and submitted my immigrant visa application on form ds 260.on the basis of the addresses lived in since the age of 16 years. nvc has listed to upload a police certificate from this foreign country as well in addition to my native country under civil documents.what should I do?I don’t know how can I get a police certificate from a foreign country There is an option between available and not available against this document and a comment section for explaination why it is not available.should I say that it is not available and what should I tell in the comment section.can I get a dq without this pcc.any one requested to help me who came across such situation.

What if I 485 was filed but no notice of receipt was issued. It's been 30 days and there is only 2 weeks left on I- 94. We filed I 130 and i485 separate. I 130 first . And got recepit right away. Filed I 485 few days later and have no recepit within 30 days
