Thank you! Yes this was 100% improv on both our parts; we never performed together before. The concert was at Kan Zaman, a local hookah club in Cleveland, OH.

Everybody needs to lighten up a bit. Souhail, as usual, great drumming and Safiyah, great dancing. You didn't rehearse? Nice job getting up there with a master drummer to dance. Where was this?

Safiyah my friend you did great job. Remember you did great challenge for first-time dancing with my solo. I am proud of you. keep it up.

Thanks for the comment! I understand that people interpret things differently but as the dancer I didn't feel this was inappropriate behavior. He was acknowledging that I hit the first :10 of this drum solo. Throughout the night if someone hit something perfectly, he would point to the hip and make a sizzle noise - like the hips were on fire. This also filled another purpose - to get some applause. Sometimes they didn't seem to clap unless "told" to do so

That mustve been quite a moment! Souhail is a master drummer!
