Regarding your onco type number, mine was much lower than that (19) and they advised that I wouldn’t need radiation or chemo. And this was being treated by Moffitt Cancer Center. Three years later, tiny little tumor appeared on the mastectomy scar and I needed to have surgery again followed by chemo and radiation. Just giving you an example of the different opinion I received and ultimately what happened to me three years after the mastectomy. Any case, I’m very impressed by the medical staff that directed your treatment as well as your follow up care. 👏👏

Do the lumpectomy,as the tumor is so small, assuming no invasion to the sentinel nodes, chemo and radiation followed by Tamoxifen for 10 years or one of the aromatase inhibitors. My opinion only. I wish you the best. Talk to your doctor about the BRCA gene…..this could impact your surgical decisions.

Size of tumor, hormone positive, or triple negative, etc. , traveled to your lymph nodes and so on….., these are the critical factors that will determine your treatment and prognosis. I’ve been down the road twice. 🙏
