I can't say (other than a few videos here and there), that I really have given the Ripper-era any serious listen. Even though it is heavier, all the songs sound the same. Same rhythm and drum beat, etc. Would be nice to have had some variety.

This is one of my favorite Priest album, one of my favorite metal album. I get that it wasnt with Rob but i dont understand why they are snobbing it this much. This song is my favorite song of the album by far it just slaps you in the face with its amazing guitar riff!

This was bizarrely one of my first Priest songs… it was their then current album and I had no idea who Rob Halford even was. Still wish this album wasn’t memory holed.
