My guess it is a monster you have to Repel the first time since it appeared near or in the village, then later on you hunt it again to kill it.

At first I thought it was Nakarkos cuz when it first appeared it's tentacles were holding the fire monkey monster and it looked like the dragon heads from Nakarkos
